“Summer 2012”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2012

We had a fantastic fortnight in Willow Lodge, it was very clean, very comfortable, exactly as described and Andrew made us very welcome. Looking to go back next year. We love Dervaig, even better now the local shop has been expanded, the local pub does really good food. We had some great walks and saw loads of wildlife including White Tailed Eagles, Golden Eagles, Hen Harriers, Otters, Basking Sharks to name a few.

We were visiting Mull for the first time and the accommodation had to meet two criteria for me: 1) walking distance to a pub and 2) handy location for the various trips we had planned. I'm happy to report Beech Lodge met the requirements and exceeded all expectations - it is a beautiful modern lodge with all the facilities you could possibly need, clean, spacious, cosy and light (even with the miserable weather we had!). The lodges are set just outside the sleepy village of Dervaig, which has a handy mini-supermarket, and an excellent pub, serving fantastic local food and drink with a constantly changing menu. Mull itself is a beautiful island, and we loved the away-from-it-all feeling it gives you, and all the wildlife on offer. We will be back!

I went with my family last august I everything was fantastic. We were in Rowan Lodge and my children were delighted. The landscape is also great and Dervaig is well placed, close to interesting places like Tobermory, Ulva Ferry... But the best was the attention and kindness of the owners, Andrew and Janet, who were at every moment pending our needs. Thank you for everything and I hope we will meet again soon.

Having spent two weeks in rowan lodge this september, this time it was perfect.much more time to enjoy the scenery and wildlife - shame about the weather - having said all that we never missed a day in seeing the wildlife - daily we had seen white tailed and golden eagles - white tailed are awesome birds - and to see many otters this time was wonderful - but you must wait around and see what turns up - enough of the wildlife - the lodges here have all the needs you require for a self catering break very comfortable and clean - nearby by a well equiped village supermarket and good pub and not far away another great place to eat - tobermory is but 20 mins away by car - this was our 3rd visit and will be back in the near furture - the host here will do everything they can to make your stay great even in the bad weather ...a & w

We spent a week in Rowan Lodge in June and it was everything it said on the label - modern, clean, comfortable, fabulous first floor living room, light, airy and fantastic views and of course all mod cons. Its a short walk to the local pub for excellent food and a well stocked village store. We've always stayed in Tobermory on previous visits but will definitely stay in the Cill-Mhoire Lodges again. Our pet Labrador, Scout, had a great time too! Thanks again to our excellent hosts for such a great time.

A warm, friendly and personal reception in the modern, wooden cottage in a nice location outside the village. Beautiful coasts and hills within easy reach, pleasant village and a good pub. The house has everything one can need in a good condition, a pleasure to be in.
