A very comfortable stay at the Caladh Inn. Check in was easy, and the hotel is very accessible with a lift to all the floors. The room was clean and tidy, including a generous tea/coffee Welcome tray and comfortable bed. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Dinner and breakfast were served in the smart restaurant just next to Reception, and both meals were absolutely amazing with a large variety of dishes on each menu. I will certainly be back for dinner, bed and breakfast!

We stayed in this Hotel as part of a Shearings tour of Scotland ‘Lord of the Isles’.
The Caladh Inn, Stornoway. Lovely, modernised Hotel which was let down by the ‘Resident Lounge’ which had a snooker table in it and little seating, especially as there were two coaches resident inside. No entertainment. Private functions took up the other bar area. The meals were excellent with buffet style serving and plenty of choice. Service was also good with the Chef piling the carved meats onto the plate.

I arrived with several bags to be checked in and then told I was on the 2nd floor but sorry the lift is out of order, no offer of help the room was very basic with stained carpet, no valance on the bed base, the duvet that thin I actually wondered if it was a duvet thank goodness for the warm weather. Bedding had been white at some point but no longer, a 2 night stay at £210 absurdly expensive. Only plus point was the clean bathroom, badly needs a refurb the pics on the website most have the windows covered and lights on giving a false view. Sorry but felt I had to be as negative but I've stayed in many places and this was but far one of the worst.

Stayed here on a coach tour at the weekend. Hotel very clean and staff were really helpful and friendly. The food was excellent with a fantastic choice. Best hotel we have stayed in with a Coach tour. Beds were very comfortable. Would stay here again no problem.

Room Tip: If road noise annoys you ask for a room at the back of the hotel as the road gets really busy.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Weather was unusually hot so rooms really too hot but staff tried to help.
Nothing fancy but would stay again. Location very good to walk into town.
Breakfast was alright except not much attention. Didn’t explain where everything was etc. Not much of a bar area.
Staff friendly and plenty of parking
