“The Coo with a smile”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

We had our lunch here with a smile on our mouth. The host was smiling and seemed to love life. But most of all, the food was great. She had very comfy chairs that made us relax.
We enjoyed our stay here.

“The best quirky place in Islay”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

Went in twice whilst stopping on the Island. The food choice was brilliant, full of local ingredients but with twists added by the very friendly owner. The treacle and ginger scones are a winner, so are the toasted sarnies. Mairi and the lovely lady who work in there will give you guidance on the Island or just pass the day with you. The cafe feels like you are sitting in someones front room and the great service makes it a very special place
