Had a couple of very nice meals here: it's a comfortable village pub with food which is a lot better than average - really, a lot!. Best on a cold autumn evening if you can sit by the fire, eating comfort food - lovely stews and soups. If you want a gastropub you might not like this as it may not be pretentious enough for you!
