This pub was full of locals when we arrived. You could tell by the interior decor that the food wasn't going to be 5 star but my partner and I were starving and the old mill inn at Killearn was closed (The old mill inn is superb pub food) so we had no option. It was our first time and our last. The seating area through the back was dead and for some strange reason the music from the speakers had only 1 track and it was on repeat, repeat , repeat , repeat.......oooops and i also forgot to mention the repeat, repeat. We thought we were going crazy. The food was not good. The chips were over done and were like mini bread sticks. The fish was burnt and my burger roll was toasted until it was dry and cripsy. Was like eating a burger between 2 cream crackers. Sorry but id advise you against going unless you daily food intake consists of freezer food from iceland.
