My spouse and I ate here one year ago and I am ashamed to say that we forgot to write a review. It was so nice to return and find out that the food was just as good as we remembered. We were brought a Rosemary bread and a Sour Dough bread. The aroma and taste of the bread was great. To start, we had two appetizers. One was the Fried Green Tomatoes with a tomato pepper chutney, basil aioli and goat cheese. The other was a Vidalia Onion Goat Cheese Tart. The Tart was good but the Fried Green Tomatoes were great. Before our entree came we were served a raspberry sorbet to cleanse palate. My wife did not care for raspberry and would have preferred a lemon sorbet. For our entrée we both had a center cut filet cooked sous vide which was perfect. My spouse had a loaded potato cake and creamed spinach. The potato cake was crispy outside and soft and tasty inside. The spinach was good. I had the macaroni and cheese tart and the mashed red new potatoes. The potatoes were creamy and tasty and the macaroni and cheese was just as tasty. For dessert we split an Apple Streusel Cobbler. This was a dish that has three types of apples baked in brown sugar batter, crunchy cinnamon oat streusel, fresh whipped cream with vanilla bean ice cream and a gingersnap cookie on top. The staff and servers are friendly and attentive. We called ahead and were told that there was not a dress code. Most diners were in dress clothes. We did not feel out of place in jeans.
