Well located for business or leisure activities. Seemed like new; if not, very well taken care of. All staff we had dealings with was friendly, helpful, and professional. Would stay there again.

Checked in to the room, no problem. No problem, until we turned on the light in the bedroom. The comforters were stained grossly as were the blankets underneath them . I went to the front desk to ask for clean linen. The attendant acting like it was not an unusual complaint, walked me to the laundry room to get clean blankets. Well, there were no clean blankets or comforters, which leads me to think that they won't be changing any one's in the morning as well. Bathroom floor have a variety of substances as well. Will never stay there again. Stayed there due to location (Close to Maryville College) but will commute to avoid this place from here on. OH, IT IS NOW CALLED LUXBURY INN AND SUITES and you should avoid it.

Not too much different, but Not the same. Our Tv did not work all day.... and they did not care.. It was like it was no big deal.. I know the name has changed, but the front desk informed me on exactly who now ownes this place, and believe me you can tell it's not the same people. We have stayed at American Classic for years now, and NOW we will NOT BE BACK.... be very aware fo this place. Things are not the same. and The staff has changed ONCE again. Things seemed to be not as taken care of. I would say yuck and to top it off. We did not get full service either, our bed was barely made and we had tons of garbage that they just overlooked. It's a shame, because we used to brag about staying there every year. There are tons of choices by the airport. I guess we will look at staying over there.

We live in Maryville and we checked out this motel for a family reunion. If you are a biker or on a really severe budget, this might be the place for you. However, if you have children or are used to moderately priced hotels such as Comfort Inn or Hampton Inn, avoid this place. There are much better choices in Alcoa (Main Stay, Holiday Express and Suites, Jameson Inn) in a nicer location with more amenities (and a pool), for almost the same price. (Note: I would also avoid any hotels located directly on Alcoa Highway except the Hilton Airport or the Hampton).

  • Liked — Nothing
  • Disliked — Very depressing with outdoor access and a very small office - a low scale Red Roof Inn

Spent 6 weeks - Nov to end of Dec. Entire staff was wonderfull! They treated us like family, plus they kept the room clean & comfy. Great location. Quiiet! Allows pets. Three washer & dryers. If we need to stay in Maryville, American Classic Suites will be our choice again.

Found this motel for extended family for family funeral- and we needed one room that allowed a small dog; called the motel direct- Donnie was extremely helpful and courteous. We took a chance that the facility would be clean and adequate per the photos on their website- and considered ourselves very lucky that it was exactly as portrayed; Donnie got our rooms as close together - we all came from Chicago, northern Illinois, central Illinois and Ohio, and his arrangements allowed us to be together, but still have privacy. Housekeeping and rest of staff was very helpful,as well. Suite arrangements allowed us to visit, cook, sleep, etc. without disturbing others- unlike other motels where you've got a bed and bath only. Motel is very convenient to Dairy Queen and MacDonalds- walking distance, and across from mall; we couldn't have been more pleased at all that was done at this location to make our stay so comfortable- only downside is they do not accept American Express.

  • Liked — Suite arrangements- got LR, batha nd bedroom for price of regular hotel room
  • Disliked — Don't accept American Express
