We stumbled upon this place for lunch one day and it is awesome. The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is very laid back.

“Awesome Cuban Food”
Reviewed September 1, 2010

The menu is limited but what they do they do well. I eat here about once a week. Be warned, however, once you start you won't be able to stop. The owners are great, place is clean, and food is great. I always bring friends and family visiting me to this place when they're in town. Now when they visit the first thing they request is to come here. Cuban sandiwch with black beans is the signature but there are other things as well. Discount for military folks. Try it.....you won't be sorry!

“Amazing Cuban Sandwich”
Reviewed September 11, 2009

I was in the mood for a cuban sandwich and with this being the only Cuban restaurant in Maryville, i figured i would give it a go. Do not be fooled by the outside of this place. It's in a rather drab and rundown part of town, but the inside seemed quite clean.

I got the cuban meal deal for 8.99. It included a huge cuban sandwish, a bowl of black or red beans with rice, and a canned drink.

I was shocked at the size of this sandwich when they brought it out. It was a good foot long. The ingredients were extremely fresh, the pork tenderloin was very tender, the swiss was creamy, and the ham was cooked perfectly. They also used a gormet mustard, and crunchy dill pickles. Very fresh. I was also given some sort of dipping sauce. It was sour to the taste and realllllllly added a zing to the sandwich. The black beans and rice were also amazing with a fresh cilantro chimichuri to top them off.

I'd say if you're in the market for some cuban food, this place is where i't at! I'll definately be back.

“Great place for some Cuban \ Latin food”
Reviewed January 30, 2009

You have to look a bit to find this restaurant as the street is fairly busy with signs. It may not look like much from the outside, but what is inside counts. The atmosphere is comfortable and the owners were very friendly. The restaurant was clean and offers two sections. We chose to eat at a small table by the counter where you order and pay. There is a dining room on the other side of the wall. The best part is the food and the value for your dollar.

Next time I am there I will try to snag a menu and a sample of the types of specials. Our meals were excellent! If you like to venture away from the chains this is a GREAT place. We chose to have Cuban Sandwiches with beans (3 types are offered) and rice as well as an appetizer and Flan for dessert. The sandwich was quite filling and that was the small one! They have a HUGE version for the very hungry!

This is a great place to go for something different!
