“Best fish supper I've had in years”
Review of The Harbour Cafe

The Harbour Cafe
Ranked #7 of 22 Restaurants in Girvan
Certificate of Excellence
Description: Fish & Chip restaurant looking out over the harbour while you eat. Traditional fish and chip dishes are served such as fish, sausages, chicken, haggis and deep fried pizza. However, we also serve our exclusive 'BLAGGIS' which is both haggis and black pudding battered together and another popular dish is our sweet chilli haggis. In our restaurant we also serve a small selection of salads, macaroni, chicken curry, lasagne and also hot and cold drinks. We also have the option to take away which is around the corner.

Lovely pleasant staff, good big portions of tasty fish n chips. We sat in because the queue for the take away was out the door. We will be back A+

“good for a quick bite”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

Stopped here for a light bite of lunch on way home. Had soup and sandwiches. Thick sliced bread with lovely smoked ham and doorstops of cheese!! Not sure if the soup was homemade but tasty none the less. Bill for 2 under £15. Can't be bad!!

“Just ok !!”
Reviewed July 10, 2013 via mobile

Stopped at Girvan with my mum and hubby for a lunch. Harbour cafe just near the front.
Lasagne chips and salad for me .. lasagne was lovely .. didnt like the smell of the coleslaw so left it .. fish and chips for the other meals .. pretty tastless really .. covered with mushy peas .. tea was nice .. overall ok for a snack .. didnt like hearing all the staff conversations .. a bit loud .. will go back to Girvan but try somewhere else :)
