“Over-priced food that was almost inedible”
Reviewed September 10, 2012

I visited this restaurant as a result of the reviews I had read. The service was quick -too quick as I was only half way through poppadoms and pickle when the main course arrived. The poppadoms were hard and flat, not light and crispy and there were only two pickles served with them. The main course was, at least, nicely presented, especially the rice. The sauce (for I would not call it curry) was disgusting. The prawns were shrimps (of the cheapest frozen kind) and many were overcooked, giving a rubbery texture. The sauce, ostensibly a patia, which should be made with onion, fresh tomato, and a variety of spices including coriander and tamarind, and which should taste hot, sweet and sour, was little more than a very sweet tomato paste. It arrived with a skin on it. It had obviously been heated in a microwave, and not been freshly prepared. It was as if this restaurant wants to take your money but provide nothing of any quality for that money. I left this place, having eaten my whole meal in little more than 35 minutes from the time I entered the front door feeling physically sick. The worst experience of my life in culinary terms.

“Excellent fresh food with warm friendly service”
Reviewed July 14, 2012

This is one of the best Indian restaurant I've every had the pleasure to eat from. In reply to nicola1806's review I must say this person is talking through her backside. She can't even spell or use proper grammar never mind write a review on food. I think she sounds like she is the type of person who is an expert in microwave meals and wouldn't know fresh if it slapped her on the face. The only thing fusty is probably her mouth. Try brushing your teeth love and you may be able to taste better.

“Good value”
Reviewed May 4, 2012

Felt compelled to write a review to counter Nicola 1806's comments.

Not particularly attractive from the outside, the interior however is very smart and modern.

No two Indian restaurants are the same so you never quite know what you are going to get but the food was very good and my wife's Rogan Josh was one of the nicest she has had (she said).

Friendly waitress and service.
