I visited this restaurant as a result of the reviews I had read. The service was quick -too quick as I was only half way through poppadoms and pickle when the main course arrived. The poppadoms were hard and flat, not light and crispy and there were only two pickles served with them. The main course was, at least, nicely presented, especially the rice. The sauce (for I would not call it curry) was disgusting. The prawns were shrimps (of the cheapest frozen kind) and many were overcooked, giving a rubbery texture. The sauce, ostensibly a patia, which should be made with onion, fresh tomato, and a variety of spices including coriander and tamarind, and which should taste hot, sweet and sour, was little more than a very sweet tomato paste. It arrived with a skin on it. It had obviously been heated in a microwave, and not been freshly prepared. It was as if this restaurant wants to take your money but provide nothing of any quality for that money. I left this place, having eaten my whole meal in little more than 35 minutes from the time I entered the front door feeling physically sick. The worst experience of my life in culinary terms.
