“Top Notch !”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

Top quality dining experiece, from the service,to surroundings,to the presentation and quality of the food.Been here several times and always leave with that feel good factor. Our favourite restaurant in Ayrshire.Menus change seasonally.£18.50 for two course at lunchtime(incl. bread rolls, coffee and petit fours) for the quality of food is excellent although a 3 course dinner is a fair bit more expensive

“As good as it looks!”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

The restaurant in the grand hall is quite imposing. Decor is fresh, modern and clean. It was quite busy which was why we had booked. We were given the choice of ordering our meal in the lounge but asked to go to our table. Without having to wait we were taken to our table and seated by a smiling waiter who proffered drinks and disappeared while we considered what to order. The menu was quite extensive with lots to choose from. Once ordered the courses were delivered efficiently but without haste by our friendly waiter. The food was quite simply delicious and the courses were generous. Someone told me the chef has won several awards and I must say I'm not surprised. Not at all pricey and the mark up on table wine was fairly typical. A most enjoyable experience.

“Ladies Lunch”
Reviewed November 11, 2012 via mobile

Have just returned from a fantastic day at Lochgreen Ladies Day Lunch.

This was a fundraiser for Hansel Village.

We arrived to coffee and shortbread this was followed by a culinary demonstration BT The Cook School. Excellent.

We then had the opportunity to shop at the marketplace again this was excellent .
Then onto lunch that was lovely three courses all hot and delicious and expertly served three courses with excellent wine . 10 put of 10 indeed 11 out of ten!
