Stayed here for 2 nights for a family wedding. We stayed in the main building, room was spacious and spotless. All meals were excellent and staff very helpful. Great venue for a wedding. Beautiful grounds. Recommend it!

We visited the restaurant in the Piersland Hotel on the 24th August for our 51st Wedding Anniversary. We took four guests with us. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. It was very busy but the staff were so efficient that we were served quickly.

A smashing 2 night break. The first night we stayed in one of the outside cottages. It was spacious, comfortable and clean, if a little lacking in character.

On the second night we moved into the main building and stayed in a standard double room. Once again very clean and comfortable. It wasn't as big as the outside room but plenty big enough for our needs. It was nicely decorated and had the character that the cottage didn't.

We ate in the Redbowl Restaurant on both nights and the food was very good indeed. In fact the restaurant itself is worth a visit for dining even if you don't plan to stay.

Finally a word on the staff. Everyone we spoke to from the breakfast waitress to the manager were friendly and courteous. The lady on reception on 23rd July and the chap who looks after the restaurant deserve special mention.

Room Tip: Outside chalets are bigger but the rooms inside are more homely and welcoming.

We stayed over on the occasion of my nephews wedding and we brought the dog with us. Stayed in one of the cottages which was ideal. Hotel staff could have not been any nicer and made the whole day that bit more special...many thanks

Room Tip: The cottages are ideal for people with pets.

Stayed here on a 4 night golf break. It is our second visit as we really liked it last time, which was 3 years ago. We booked 2 x 2 night leisure breaks early which included 2 evening meals - 3 courses with coffee. It is rare that we eat in the evening at the same place as we stay but the food was so lovely last time we decided to eat at the hotel.

The evening meal was amazing with great service and a varied menu. The breakfast was good but on the first morning it was a little dried out. This was not a problem on the subseqent mornings.

We stayed in a lodge house which were great. It's good to have a small vestibule to store golf clubs. The only cleaning comment would be that the window cills were a little dusty and a hoover each morning over the carpet would have been good. This is no criticism to the cleaning lady as I dont think her scedule included hoovering and dusting - although I dont think this had been done inbetween room occupiers.. Other than that the cleanliness was excellent and the lady who cleaned lovely.

I only have small critisisms of this lovely hotel and look forward to staying there again.

I would recommend the 2 for 1 golf vouchers from South Ayrshire golf.

Room Tip: Lodge rooms are great for golfers and the parking is good.

Toilets were spotless so was bar and reception area. Hand soap made hablnds very sticky would avoid using. Outdoor area is great staff uniform did not match the standard of the hotel the waitressing staff were wearing hairdressing pinifers which did not look right at all. Bar prices were high. But overall lovely hotel l.
