The staff at this resteraunt are so welcoming. They were all so friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was great too. Great resteraunt!!!

A little on the expensive side and don't think the quality is great but your chef does an ok job.
Not 100percent on the scary waiting on staff the older blonde lady! I had highland chicken ok but only got carrots as side dish so thought was a bit expensive.
Where do we begin....
Visited this restaurant after recommendation by a local and was certainly not disappointed! Service was exemplary. Did not have to ask for anything, staff were proactive and surprised us with their hospitality. On arrival we were greeted with a first class smile and service. Kids were supplied with plastic cutlery, bibs etc. Food was gorgeous and well presented! Reasonably priced for the quality! Will definitely be returning to Tain if only to visit St Duthus Hotel restaurant!
Having an hour to kill before our tour around the Glenmorangie distillery, we stopped at St Duthus for a quick bite.
The place was only half-full which was good and we were shown to a table and ordered drinks. I ordered a Steak & onion baguette which was okay - it was thin strips of steak and some tasteless onions with some salad. It was pretty good value but not particularly memorable.
Service was a bit on the slow side - one of those places I think where you need to wave/raise your voice to get someone's attention which wasn't particularly useful when we had to leave to get to our tour and nobody seemed to want to bring our bill.
Anyway, some of the other items on the menu looked good (the meals on neighbouring tables looked quite a bit better than our sandwiches) so I'd possibly drop in again if passing by.. as long as we weren't in a hurry.
