Called in with our dog for a lunchtime meal. The staff were very helpful and polite, service very good and food very nice.My wife had the chicken, leek and ham pie and i had the liver and onions.Only issue was liver slightly undercooked but a great pub for a meal.

Room Tip: Did not stay at hotel.

The restaurant does not have a large menu but the food is of a high quality. I had the steak pie with fresh vegetables and chips. I have never had that quantity of steak in a pie in my life, and the flavour was brilliant. My wife had the gammon , egg and chips. She was pleasantly surprised by the thickness of the meat and the flavour of the fresh vegetables. Service was good and helpful. The choice of drinks was acceptable and everything was reasonably priced. A very satisfying evening.

On our way back from Dunrobin Castle and a walk in Golspie, we stopped here to have dinner.
We were with a group of 13 but the staff was more than happy to accommodate us.
Very, very friendly staff and good service.
Food was excellent, my husband named the burger as "the best one he had ever eaten".
At the end it wasn't a problem that our three families wanted to pay seperately.
What a great experience

Went here with a few friends for an evening meal last week and we all had a great experience. Staff were welcoming, chatty and friendly. The menu had a great selection and was well priced. Food was presented with excellence and tasted incredible! Surpassed our expectations for a humble looking establishment. Highly recommend this restaurant for well priced, high quality meals within a comfortable and welcoming environment.
