“A perfect little gem”
Reviewed January 29, 2017 for a stay in January 2017

West Lodge is just perfect for that relaxing week away, fantastic walks, exciting wildlife and the most cosy, comfortable Lodge to come home to. All the furnishings are beautiful, beds really comfortable and a great log fire to sit round with a wee glass of wine while deciding which DVD to watch. We will visit again and again!
And the dogs loved it !

Lovely little cottage, wonderfully secluded & in peaceful surroundings. Very tastefully decorated and is also about to get a new kitchen and bathroom fitted so will be even better. Loved the stove & the owners couldn't be more helpful. Good quality bedding & very enjoyable rest in the comfy beds-Lovely short break.

“Lovely house beautiful surroundings fully equipped for a very pleasant stay.”
Reviewed October 18, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

This was a lovely comfortable house I went with my husband and 2 teenage girls both 19, didn't know what to expect but we were all delighted with the cottage, it was cosy, clean, comfortable beds, lovely log burner for extra cosy nights and had absolutely everything we needed including sky tv for the wet days. Lovely place, loved the deer theme throughout the house, nice touch and to top our trip we saw a large stag near the house.

“A Perfect Highland Retreat”
Reviewed September 18, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

A wonderful Highland retreat that offers plenty, allowing its guests to savour the warmth of the welcome and enjoy all that it has to offer - which is a lot. The thoughtful touches that allow you to relax, increase the size of your smile, very much making it a home from home. The views of the surrounding area are idyllic with the cottage offering a superb garden, allowing you to enjoy the wildlife, relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility.
The week passed far too quickly, hastening a return visit as soon as possible.
Highly recommend

“Comfortable cottage in a pleasant location”
Reviewed July 14, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

The accommodation was ideal for us, a couple and our adult son, as it has a double bedroom and ensuite downstairs, and a similar bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The cottage was spotlessly clean, nicely presented, and well equipped. It was generously stocked with the basics. The decor suited the cottage and location beautifully. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the large garden and sharing a glass of wine in one of the two outdoor areas at the end of a day's exploring. It is a lovely place, and a highlight was watching deer walk down the road in the evening. Our Border Collie would have loved it here but, sadly, she was at home in Australia.
The owners were friendly and most helpful, and did all they could to make our stay a success.
