We went on the half day tour on Friday 27th September 2013. It was a fabulous afternoon. Kenny and his crew were superb, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife.
On our trip we were so lucky to see the amount of wildlife we did including the white tailed sea eagles!
Views were breathtaking and we have very precious memories of our experience.
Thanks Kenny, so we missed meeting Gemma!
Can't recommend this trip enough - we will be back to do another tour!

If you are in the area a trip with Kenny and Gemma aboard their purpose built craft is a delight not to be missed.

A real 5 star experience and a treasured memory to take away. We did the afternoon tour in July 2013 and will be back in 2014 for one of the full day trips.

Kenny and Gemma are very knowledgable about the local area its history, geology and floral and fauna and most of all great hosts.

We are looking forward already to going back to Wester Ross next year and spending a day aboard the MV Seaflower.

If you have never been on a small boat to sea before we would recommend this a good starting point as the luxurious Seaflower provided an exceptionally smooth ride even with the couple of swells we encountered. We chose a day trip to Rona.

Kenny and Gemma are very knowledgeable advising us of the route we are taking and what we a likely to see. Seals and birds were abundant including a Sea Eagle at Shieldaig. Unfortunately despite Kenny’s best efforts, the dolphins eluded us.

Hot drinks and homemade cakes were available during the trip out to Rona.

The group on board consisted of 10 people all aiming to achieve something different from the trip. Gemma split her time equally between everyone and she asked us what we were planning to do on Rona and based on our reply she provided us with a map and estimated of how long it was take to walk where we wanted to go which was very accurate.

Having landed at Rona in a secluded bay, we had a couple of hours to explore the island before returning to lunch. We would have liked a little more time on the island to explore, however, other people on the trip felt it was just right.

Lunch provided on this day trip was out of this world, the produce being locally supplied from Shieldaig and is presented exactly as the photographs on their website. There was a good choice of wine and soft drinks available.

Hot drinks again were provided on the return trip.

If you are in the area then one of their trips ‘must’ be on your ‘to do’ list.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent trip with Torridon Sea Tours. We opted for a half day tour 2pm - 5pm as we thought that was a good length of trip for our two children (7 and 4). We were given a warm welcome aboard and given binoculars, offered jackets and the children were given life vests.
We set off promptly and had a superb trip, Gemma made the children feel especially welcome and kept them entertained. We spent time inside the cabin and out on deck and both Gemma and Kenny have a fabulous knowledge of the areas wildlife and geography, they were very keen to maximise our wildlife hit rate. During our trip we were lucky enough to see seals, porpoises, mountain goats, and a pair of sea eagles. The children (and daddy) loved the underwater camera which was expertly guided to a reef and a shoal of fish. Home made rock cakes, fudge, beautiful boat, stunning scenery - a fantastic trip. Thank you.

This was one of my favourite days ever, we went on the full day Rona trip which was amazing. I liked going on the Rona trip because every year we stay in a house opposite wih friends and I have always wondered what it was like, I was definitely not disappointed, it was calm and beautiful. To get to Rona you are in the boat for two hours but that is definetely not a bad thing you are on an amazing boat (really really nice) and it is lovely, you can go on the top with provided binoculars and see lots of wildlife which you learn about from Kennys daughter, Gemma who is very knowledgeable. The wildlife you can see is amazing but I won't spoil it for you. When you arrive at Rona on the boat which provides a very pleasant journey and is very stable, you get out and you have two hours on the island alone which is very nice. We went with another family, our friends (which is very nice thing to do) we come up to scotland from england and this was an amazing treat.) When we got back to the boat, we had a delicious lunch cooked by Gemma. We then went back and were allowed to drive the boat and it is another opportunity to see more wildlife. Overall I think that this is a lovely experience and absolutely amazing. I can't explain it in words, it is brilliant and I thoroughly recommend this!
