We attended the first sailing on Friday 4th June and were not disappointed. Sarah the skipper was very knowledgeable and very friendly. The trip was a good couple of hours and although we only saw dolphins right at the end it was worth the wait. Plenty of good spots for sea birds and seeing them all on the cliffs is fascinating. Full consideration is made for the welfare of the Dolphins under the DPS rules and anyone booking a trip should ensure this is the case. Wildlife are unpredictable and you should remember this, it makes it all the better when you do spot a dolphin or two. Cromarty is lovely to visit and when in Inverness you should seek out Ecoventures.

We went on this trip at the weekend and had a great time. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They get you close to the dolphins and spend a while with them without pestering or chasing them. Very good trip that I would highly recommend if you have some time in Cromarty which is a lovely wee town.

Cromarty is a beautiful little town on the Moray Firth and is the ideal place to go dolphin watching to see the resident colony of Bottlenose dolphins.
We chartered a RIB with Ecoventures (you can go on a normal trip with them as well) for a couple of hours for each of two mornings and had a wonderful time. We saw about a dozen dolphins and Sarah the skipper (and owner) knows her stuff inside out. Whilst searching for the dolphins she pointed out the bird colonies and they were fascinating to watch lined up on the cliffs. We were lucky enough to see dolphins on both trips out but that isn't always the case. Pity we were too early in the year to see Minke whales.
Overall a wonderful way to spend a few hours in an extremely beautiful part of the country.
