Had lunch here before heading home on Sunday - great food, the fish couldn't have been more fresh! Would definitely recommend!
And the views from out the front are really something else!
I'll be back!

Cheers!

We traveled to applecross from Wakefield with our stop offs or journey was 13 hours, the reason for our trip was the applecross games, we stayed on the campsite close to the inn and used the pub for food and drink . All the staff were very friendly even to the point of showing us the best way to shell the very good prawns, the menu is full of excellent food of which I had the local bay prawns and seafood pie both were outstanding a very busy place but this didn't make the service slow, the views are a must for any photographers well worth a visit if you are touring the area.

It's a great mission I have set myself , to be a bit of a crab sandwich fanatical researcher but I do believe I have found the best at Applecross Inn, my mission is accomplished!
If it weren't couple of hundred miles from home this inn would be my local. Still, it is definitely the local of my dreams.
Great service, fresh delicious food. Not to mention great real ale and whiskies. The Guinness was top clas too.
It is a proper inn and I wished we could have had longer here. No wonder it has won awards and is always full despite being a little out of the way.
Despite all this the prices are very reasonable . It is a friendly place too.
Oh how I wished it were my local!
The beef sandwich and fresh mustard was also excellent. Recommend both.
Pure white crab meat was gorgeous and bread soft and tasty. Could just eat one now. Yummy.

It was a very busy night as a live folk band were playing but the staff managed to get us sorted with a table for dinner despite us not booking. Friendly staff, huge variety of food with lots of fresh, local seafood offered. Lots of local / Scottish craft beers too. Band were great. Fab wee pub with lots of atmosphere
