Applecross is remote and it is off season but we had a superlative meal. All five of us on a west coast tour chose the 9 course taster is the October special and I would challenge anyone to beat this value for money anywhere. Local ingredients crafted just the way I like it! The only disappointment was the slightly undercooked wild mushroom risotto but the dish was bursting with flavour so we quickly forgave them. The wine list is better than adequate and they have a good selection of local beers. It rained cats and dogs but who cared? With a massive wood burning stove, we felt well looked after and returned back to our B&B ready for action the next day.
