“January Break”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 15, 2014

I booked Pine Martin Lodge for 4 nights for my husband and I and it was fantastic! Loved the hot tub with views across river and with snow capped mountains as a backdrop. The wood burning stove was great after being out in the freezing cold weather. Whitebridge Hotel only a few minutes walk away had friendly staff and good food. Only minor complaint was the late check in time on arrival of 4pm and early check out time on 10am on day of departure.

Room Tip: Pine Martin is more secluded than most.

We stayed here for 4 nights, as a getaway after the hustle and bustle of Christmas and New Year. The Lodge we stayed in, Raven, was immaculately clean and very well kitted out- half the stuff we took "just in case we need it" was already provided- from hairdryer to torch, to firelighters/matches (for the woodburning stove) to bottleopener!! Our dog was welcome in this accommodation also (booked in advance) which was an added bonus for us. The hot tub is a fantastic feature and perfect to help us to relax, plastic glasses are even provided if you fancy bubbly in the bubbles!! The no phone signal is a complete bonus for us as we both have such hectic jobs- perfect for being able to completely switch off and unwind. Will definitely endeavour to come back sometime soon.

Room Tip: We stayed in the "Raven" lodge- the one featured mostly in the videoclip on the webpage- c...

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights, it was so clean and tidy. The location is perfect if you're after a rural, quiet location. The hot tub was fantastic and the lodge was well equipped. I highly recommend and would love to return!

We were looking for a place to relax and hide,
We we're recommend lodges at wildside,
We stayed in lodge red dear,
Witch was private and no-one could peer,
But the time sadly came,
For us to leave our highland Hame from Hame

The red dear lodge was fantastic with its views, hot tub and accommodation. We even saw from the hot tub a bird of prey close up and a red deer across the river.
It's great in the hot tub when it -dec outside
Hope to return

Room Tip: Red dear and outer cabins have the best views and privacy

Stayed in Grouse, it was amazing! That's the lodge in the pictures with the huge L-shaped sofa in the living area and the log burner in the middle of the room - luxury at its best. The lodge had everything you wanted, it was spotless and the views - wow! Thought the welcome pack was a really nice touch, just enough little bits to get you started. The long drive was so worth while.

It was so quiet and only a short drive to Lock Ness but the countryside was stunning. The wildlife were literally on the door step, and the evening stars - I have never seen so many stars.

The people that worked there were so friendly and helpful and were the first place you can go to for information about the area and lovely walks nearby.

Wildside was recommended to us by our family. It was a 9 hour drive to get there but we are so glad we made the effort. We stayed in the Pinemarten Lodge and it was amazing. It was beautifully decorated, cosy and spotlessly clean. The log fire was really lovely. The river was just a few steps away and it is so peaceful and relaxing. We had never been to Scotland before and Wildside was the perfect base to explore and enjoy the wonderful places in that area. There is so much to see and do. We can't wait to stay at Wildside again and we would recommend it to everyone......It's FANTASTIC !!!!!!

Wildside Lodges provide the perfect holiday retreat in the heart of the spectacular Scottish Highlands. Our lodge (Raven) was a spacious luxury one bedroom lodge with ample living area and well fitted kitchen & utility. The log fire was perfect for warming to after a long day if we weren't drinking champagne in the hot tub under the stars outside! The setting is stunning and the walks by the river simply divine. A week wasn't long enough to explore properly as we were working but a visit to foyers Falls and Loch Ness at nearby Fort Agustus is a must. The staff are extremely helpful, efficient and professional. We utilised the supermarket delivery service for our provisions which made the whole experience stress free and very enjoyable. Can't wait to return.

Room Tip: All lodges seemed to have their own individual character, hard to choose. otter and Red Deer on the...
