Beautiful, peaceful and immaculately clean accommodation. Very warm welcome with tea and home made scones and cake.

Lots of good local recommendations for dinner which were accurate.

The large, spotless and very comfy room had a private entrance, private patio looking right onto Loch Ness. Even though the weather was bad the place was still stunning with its wee private beach and lovely grounds.

The room had a good selection of dvds perfect for a rainy evening, sherry and chocolates and quality toiletries.

The breakfast did not dissapoint, loads of choice, top quality and lots of home made preserves. Fresh fruit every morning which is impressive when its long drive to inverness to buy it!

The only dissapointment was that there was no bath (which I knew already) however the shower was very powerful and everything else more than made up for it.

Dont be put off by the flowery decor, if you like the modern look, it is all new, top quality and immaculately clean.

Book it now! We will be going back, no question!

Wonderful, large, comfortable room overlooking Loch Ness with gardens that wound around and down to the shore.
Comfortable bed with very fine sheets, down pillows, nice towels and toiletries. Our host thought of everything in the way of comfort.
Great view from the bed through the private sliding glass door. Had its own little patio in front of room with table and chairs.
Breakfast was excellent and generous with good coffee and lots of it.
Helpful binder filled with tourist brochures from surrounding area.
Very clean.
Warm and friendly, much much better than a hotel.

This was the first time I had stayed in a B&B for many years and to be honest I was not keen when my husband told me we staying in B&B's around the Highlands of Scotland. However I should not have worried.

Tigh Na Bruach is very close to the main road, but I cannot say I noticed any road noise despite being the height of the season. The View from the room over Loch Ness was amazing, and there is a walk down to the loch side. The room itself was very comfortable, well decorated and their was lots of local information provided (much more than in Hotels), even a decanter of sherry.

Breakfast was great, lots to choose from.

This is a very very nice B&B, better than many 3 and 4* hotels I have stayed in.

We had been planning our Scotish weekend since October 2007 but everything seemed to always get in our way. When we eventually did make we only had 1 night of our 3 night stay at Tigh Na Bruach due to a family emergency calling us home. Catherine and Ian were fantastic they had no problem in us coming back when we could reschedule to finish our visit.

So drving up from Warrington we were both very excited that we were going to the most heavenly place. Situated right on Loch Ness our room had the most magnificent view, which with the large patio makes the perfect place to sit and unwind before heading for a very comfortable bed.

On arrival Catherine greeted us and was quick to offer us her home made sponge and scones - and let me just say this is not to be missed as they are yummy - it was one of the many pleasures we couldn't wait to try again. Breakfast is also wonderful with Catherine's porridge a must oh and the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - well it's all good let me just say that!!!

We will definitely we returning to enjoy Catherine and Ian's wonderfully hospitality again plus telling everyone how great it is.

This is 5 star and I have no problem recommending Tigh Na Bruach as we will definitely be returning.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay, and we didn't want to leave, this is by far the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Cath and Ian are lovely hosts, and have thought of everything. Cath goes right out of her way to make your stay special from start to finish. From the standard of the rooms, the cleanliness, the breakfasts, the gardens and views, everything was absolutely perfect.
I could go on and write loads more, but read all the other good reviews and get it booked, cos you won't find better!!

We found it very difficult to find a quality base in this area and we were lucky to find this guesthouse. It is very comfortable, large room with private access and small patio facing the Loch. My only complaint is the lack of a bath (although its a great shower) and that the website is a bit misleading because it gives the impression that it is well off the road. down by the Loch. This is not the case, it is very much on the A82 which was noisy with traffic during most of the day and this was hardly high season. Also, because it faces east you miss out on the afternoon and evening sun. Ian and Catherine are very welcoming and helpful and the property is immaculate. It is a good base for the Great Glen Way, exploring Glen Affric and getting over to the quieter and beautiful western side of Loch Ness. We enjoyed the ambiance of Fort Augustus, having an evening beer watching the boats negotiate the locks and an amazing fish & chip supper in the Lock Inn.

Tigh Na Bruach is a perfect Bed & Breakfast and we could not have been happier there. We arrived to a very warm welcome by the owner, Catherine (Ian was away at the time) and the warmth and hospitality did not end there. The location is stunning; right on the banks of Loch Ness, and being a little way out of the village made it the ideal quiet hide-away. The surrounding gardens were picture perfect and our room was spotless, with a lovely view out over the loch. Catherine and Ian had obviously taken great care in choosing the furniture and facilities. Breakfast was a huge traditional British affair and was cooked to perfection. We spent a blissful two days touring around the loch but were always happy to come back to Tigh Na Bruach after a long day touring. We could not commend more highly this wonderful B&B and only advise that you may want to book early. With a place like this, it may be hard to get in!
