After having a nightmare at Polmailly House Hotel which we bought via the rip off merchants KGB deals, we luckily stumbled accros this absolute gem!! New owners had just taken over 2 days before our stay, I can honestly say, as a well travelled couple, this is probably the most charming little establishment I have had the pleasure of staying at. Taking over a business is stressful enough but Ailsa made us so welcome!! First night we stayed in a super King room, which was lovely, then the next we moved to the 4 poster room, with a proper high tech jacuzzi bath. Food here is incredible, and you must try the deep fried poach egg at breakfast!!! wow. Dinner was huge and Hamish was an incredible chef!! A hugs selection of whiskeys await, and after sinking about 9 doubles on our second night we stumbled up to our 4 poster bed and awoke to low hanging cloud covering the hills, before speeding accross Loch Ness on a rib. All in all a fantastic stay at a fantastic little Hotel, we will defo be back, and Ailsa watch out, cos we are bringing the kids!!!!! haha

Room Tip: Go for the 4 poster!!!

Have stayed at this hotel a good few times before.
Love going there for a complete rest and break .
Paul & Sue the owners look after you as if you were one of their own.
Took my grand daughter there for her first holiday giving my son and future daughter in law
a break as well..Loved every minute of it..
Pity the weekend went in so quick.

This hotel is right on the Great Glen Way, which we were walking. We were camping for most of the trip and splurging with this stay at the Glenmoriston Arms. I'm glad I chose this hotel--spacious room and updated bathroom. We had a wonderful view toward the village. We enjoyed walking to the waterfall on the river and seeing the Well of St. Columba. There was a good restaurant and a full service bar. Hot breakfast was included. The weather was looking dismal the day we left and we would have stayed another day, but they were booked. Great hosts greeted us warmly when we arrived looking scruffy with our backpacks.

Stayed here on our last night before returning to Inverness. What a letdown after the wonderful B&B accommodation in Skye. The one good bit was the lovely bathroom but the twin room was poky and dark. The wallpaper by the bed was peeling away and had black mould on it. The food was mediocre and slapped on to the plate schooldinner fashion. Reception stank of cooking fish. Not a good ending to an excellent trip.
