Could'nt meet two nicer ladies as hosts. Turned up at the door in soaking wet walking gear to be immediately shown where to stow our boots for drying. We were then shown our room and offered fresh tea or coffee. This arrived instantly accompanied by home baked fruit cake. The offer to wash and dry any clothing was then made and we began to take in the high end spec of our surroundings. Complementary whisky with the more usual tea and coffee tray was a welcome first for me.
The ladies admit to being beginners at the B+B game but yet behave like seasoned pro's with an enthusiastic nothing is too much trouble approach. Breakfast followed suit with big portions and much homemade fare, the friendly banter made it hard to get back into the walking gear.
Do yourselves a favour and experience a true home from home stay with the best people. Personally can't wait for a return, Thankyou girls!!!

I booked 2 double rooms for one night.
We where made very welcome and so where the dogs.
Both rooms had on suite and where clean and fresh.
The food was well presented and there was a good choice.
It is run by two sisters and only opened this year.,
They are both friendly and helpful.
We very much enjoyed our stay and would hope to go back one day.
I wish them every success in there new venture

This B&B was a very pleasant surprise for us as we went around looking for a place to stay that was near to Loch Ness. While we chanced on this place by accident, we would highly recommend this place to anyone who are visiting Loch Ness or even Fort Augustus, both of which are very close by (20 mins drive to Loch Ness/10 mins to Fort Augustus). Good location (its located on the A82 itself), very clean and impeccably kept, facilities were great (wi-fi, coffee/tea making facilities), room and toilets were well designed and comfortable and great breakfast! What made this place different though was the thoughtfulness and the small details that made it feel like home - alarm clock, lots of powerpoints (we had problems with this in other B&Bs), dram of whisky, welcoming tea/coffee/cake. The hosts were very friendly and make you feel like family, along with their 3 dogs - Angus, Frasier and Skye. Lindsey and Manda, the owners, were careful not to impose their dogs on their guests unless they were clearly comfortable with them. Our 3 year old who was scared of dogs, left the B&B after 1 night with fabulous memories of Angus and "Angus' hotel". Thank you Lindsey and Manda for a great stay and wonderful memories for our family!

Myself and my Wife were looking to get away with the dogs for a long weekend, and base ourselves in the highlands so we could take in other locations. All of us felt right at home as soon as we arrived. We managed to get to Skye and Inverness, and other locations that were closer. If we are back in the area,we will be looking to stay here.

Fantastic welcome with tea/coffee and cakes. Very accommodating of special dietary needs. Great stopping point for 4 tired mountain bikers riding the Great Glen Way.
