This B&B was a very pleasant surprise for us as we went around looking for a place to stay that was near to Loch Ness. While we chanced on this place by accident, we would highly recommend this place to anyone who are visiting Loch Ness or even Fort Augustus, both of which are very close by (20 mins drive to Loch Ness/10 mins to Fort Augustus). Good location (its located on the A82 itself), very clean and impeccably kept, facilities were great (wi-fi, coffee/tea making facilities), room and toilets were well designed and comfortable and great breakfast! What made this place different though was the thoughtfulness and the small details that made it feel like home - alarm clock, lots of powerpoints (we had problems with this in other B&Bs), dram of whisky, welcoming tea/coffee/cake. The hosts were very friendly and make you feel like family, along with their 3 dogs - Angus, Frasier and Skye. Lindsey and Manda, the owners, were careful not to impose their dogs on their guests unless they were clearly comfortable with them. Our 3 year old who was scared of dogs, left the B&B after 1 night with fabulous memories of Angus and "Angus' hotel". Thank you Lindsey and Manda for a great stay and wonderful memories for our family!

Myself and my Wife were looking to get away with the dogs for a long weekend, and base ourselves in the highlands so we could take in other locations. All of us felt right at home as soon as we arrived. We managed to get to Skye and Inverness, and other locations that were closer. If we are back in the area,we will be looking to stay here.

Fantastic welcome with tea/coffee and cakes. Very accommodating of special dietary needs. Great stopping point for 4 tired mountain bikers riding the Great Glen Way.

A wonderful bed and breakfast with owners who could not have been more helpful. The accommodation was immaculate and very comfortable and the breakfast was yummy! Located right on the Great Glen wWay so you don't even have to cycle / walk out of your way if this is what you're doing. Secure storage for bikes too. Could not have asked for better.

A lovely B&B with great touches such as a free dram of whisky in the rooms and alarm clocks - alongside more standard B&B fare like tea, coffee and hot chocolate making kit, and biscuits. We had a comfy bed, with nice clean ensuite bathroom with good shower. There was also a widescreen TV and wifi (just ask the owners for the network key).

The B&B is in a lovely setting very close to the centre of the (tiny) town of Invermoriston, meaning a shop and restaurant are close by. It also has a garden which attracts wildlife - apparently red squirrels often visit, and while we were there one of the very friendly (but not intrusive) owners showed us a slow-worm which she had come across in the garden.

We don't currently own a dog but the B&B seemed welcoming for canines, and the owners themselves have three dogs. There's no kennel feeling, though - everything was spotlessly clean.

Breakfast was hearty, with a choice of Scottish breakfast (bacon, egg, haggis, etc) or kippers - that on top of cereal, toast, and other goodies. There was also a pretty good window of opportunity to have breakfast (you just have to specify in advance within the window - we had ours at 9). Quite a plus as one or two B&Bs I've come across have been quite draconian, with early breakfasts.

In the same vein, the owners were very relaxed - for instance, the check-out time was not strictly stated (though this may be enforced more as the business becomes established - it only started up in spring 2010). Definitely to be recommended.
