“Outstanding natural beauty”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

Wow! The view from the top viewing point of this really left me speechless & to be able to see the force of nature leaves me wanting to recommend this to anyone who is in the Loch Ness area.

Walking down the steep path was sometimes a bit slippery & I would definitely recommend walking boots be worn. The path is mainly man made but in parts the cliffs intrude on the path & that is where it gets a bit challenging for some.

Parking at the top is a bit limited.

There is a café & shop at the top car park & picnic tables at the start of the walk with beautiful views from the tables.

Obviously this walk down the cliff face is not suitable for those in wheelchairs, buggys or with walking difficulties & I wouldn't be too happy having little children with me either.

“Stunning feat of nature”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

A visit to the Falls of Foyer is well worth the walk to get there. There a several different routes to choose - each one is worth exploring; the amazing combination of roaring water and very rugged rocks creates an awesome experience

“The falls of Foyers”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

Out of Inverness and on the B852 road a sometimes single track road on eastern shore of Loch Ness. Good day out if you like nature, walking, woods, trees, and wild life. Steep hill walk down to falls. Need stout boots... There is a shop/cafe across the road from the falls. Very very small car park about 5 cars. Robert Burns is reported to have been inspired to write poems about the place.

“Falls of Foyer”

Walk down a hill/steps often slippy to falls. Steep on way back. If you like walking through woods and have stout boots on it is OK. Falls worth a visit.
