“Fell For It”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012

I'm not sure I share Robert Burns' sentiment of the boiling cauldron and all, but no matter. I'm a sucker for waterfalls, and this is a good one. There's a lot of history in the area as well, related to the aluminum industry. Out-of-the-way on a series of single tracks, and that makes it all the better. Plus, if you come up from the south, you'll have some really spectacular scenery along the way.

“Strong legs required!”

A beautiful and peaceful walk down to the falls with lines from Burns decorating the trail, but no good for the less agile as the climb back up is knackering!

“marvellous waterfalls & red squirrels too”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2012

The falls of Foyers are marvellous at this time of the year with the brown colouring of the water from the peat . We only walked the short route down to the higher view point and got marvellous photographs as a result
