Good position on quiet side of Loch Ness. Unfortunately there are not manyplaces to eat only one pub nearby - a bit shabby

“In love”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2012 via mobile

What a beautiful little community. I wish I lived here. I stayed at foyers in 2005. The cabin was spacious and I loved the fact I had to put 50 pence pieces in the meter to continue our electric. That was a new experience for me. The falls of foyers are magnificent!

Falls quite impressive, worth stopping at on you trip. Not a good walk for people in wheel chairs or problems with their legs as fairly steep

“Stunning”

Work your way from the top of the Falls and follow the path through the woods taking in the falls as you go. This way it is all down hill to the banks of Lochness. If your lucky you will spot a Red Squirel.

“Worth a trip if you are nearby”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2012

Not somewhere to make a special trip for but if you are in the Loch Ness / Inverness area then definitely worth calling at - the road it's down is also a lot of fun especially if you are in a rental car!

You will need appropriate walking attire as the paths are muddy/rough but it's a well laid out path to the falls from the car park opposite, which views available from the upper and lower falls.

Be careful if you decide to do the bigger trail as the signposting can be 'interesting' to say the least!

Definitely stop for a beer at the Devors Inn on the way back!
