A friend and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights using a groupon voucher. Was easy to find, sign on the main road is easily spotted. Hotel is situated a little bit back from the loch side but has stunning views of the loch, which can be taken in while you sit outside at one of their many picnic tables, while having a drink. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Dinner was included in our deal, service was excellent and the food was nice, standard pub grub but very pleasant. Breakfast service was good as well, yet again friendly staff and a lovely cooked breakfast, there was also a continental selection. Our room was good, plenty of storage and space. I did find the bed a bit lumpy personally but everyone is different. I would definitely visit here again, great location for visiting the local sites, friendly staff and good value for money.

We visited the bar here whilst staying at Loch Ness Shores Campsite. We had already eaten so just went for drinks. The food being served to other customers looked delicious and the menu looked nice - and had a good scottish twist to their meals!

Bar staff very friendly and welcoming. Nice surroundings and stunning views over the Loch.

We hope to come back for a meal some day!

When arriving at the hotel we where pleasantly surprised with the place. nice lounge area as you walk in, great welcome by the lady on duty who showed us to our room. The room was fantastic, large, comfortable, clean space with a view to die for... just what we needed to relax on our last couple of days in Scotland. So far so good... now it starts to decline. This is clearly a family run business and maybe somewhere along the line they forgot that they are a hotel and not just a gathering place for them, family and children! Dinner was a disaster, no structure to service what so ever! The poor lad running food was getting a hard time from the owner who was sat at the bar. We had to wait at least 20 mins for our started to be cleared and even longer for the main course and of course they forgot our dessert. Breakfast was average, nothing special. We believe this hotel could have so much potential if the 'food & service' side of it all was at least a basic standard. It was a shame.

Loved this place, gorgeous hotel and the views were fantastic! Very friendly staff and nice meals. It was more pub type food but it was delicious! Very clean. Rooms were lovely, we had a view out the back but it was still beautiful, like a forest back drop. Family run which I like. It is a bit out the way and gps took us the wrong route but worth the find!

We where here some years ago. it WAS fantastic. Fine food and wine, quiet with great view of the Loch. This is what you get now.!! £ 140 superior loch view is a view of a camp site. it is a cheap pub for the camp site, cctv in place, !!, food is dreadful frozen stuff, rooms now run down, dirty, peeling wall paper. Hot breakfast not incl and fixed. a req for poached eggs turned down. " I will get to much flak from the kitchen. " so there. Food very poor and expensive.
On a positive note, it has hot water. ! Drowned a terrible evening with whisky in the corner of what was a great lounge room. , now a café..
Craigdarroch is now a camp site joint, very very over rated, very expensive, I rate it £ 50, not £140. Never again. it ruined a special get away trip.

Room Tip: front only but view of camp site. !!

Had a wonderful stay here.
Very comfortable environment and a lovely beer garden looking onto the loch which was amazing.
Staff was first class and really friendly and the food was also top notch.
What made the stay was our view from our room looking onto the loch, may I add is stunning at 530am
Definitely will be back for another break.

This is a family run Hotel. Difficult to find, and out of the way. The view from the front was spectacular, overlooking Loch ness. The food was typical of a Bar, and service was slow. Our room was small and basic, overlooking the back with no view. The staff were pleasant, and facilities were clean.
