great holiday, saw the owners on a couple of occasions and they were so polite, room was a little old fashioned so clean, spotless, lovely soft bed with the bedding changed each day, heating was perfect so was the tv and free wifi was a plus, what i liked was the fact you could wander anywhere, lounge, kitchen, patio and all you met were other guests, (they were lovely too), you can take your own food with you - which i prefere and you have the run of this immaculate kitchen, then either sit in the lovely dining room and eat or relax in the living area which had lots of comfy sofas, books, games, magazines, we did not eat in as there was so much to do outside, but there is a nice cafe at the end of the little road, there is so much to do either walking distance or driving and the locals are pleasant and helpful. The view i cannot say enough !!! wow we just had to open our curtains and see the loch and mountains, and the terrace area to relax in was perfect.- all you had to do when you arrived was sign yourself in, pick up your key and all the signs guided you where you want to go - the front door is locked during the day - but the side one is open to guests to come and go all day - so as i needed a nap - that was perfect.definately go again.

Room Tip: facing the loch

We arrived around 6-30 pm staying for 1 night, there was an self service check in - not a problem as have encountered this before - and way to rooms was well signed. In the room was a comfortable bed and the most wonderful view of the loch, clean sheets and towels and a nice size en suite. Now we come to the strange part. The bedside lights were the touch type with no switches which was ok but when event to see about some food e found it to be self - service, the kitchen & dining room are available to guests but you are expected to provide your own food AND cook it as well. The whole time we were there we saw no one and if not for hearing the guest in the next room would have thought we had the place to ourselves.
All in all though it was a pretty decent place to stay, can't say it was friendly as, with no staff around we don't know but good information for food establishments and things to do in local area made it a good start. Thanks

Room Tip: We had room 5 which gave a good view of the loch

Scary bed side lamps, no chef in the “self-service” kitchen and no friendly smiling staff sat around the house. Note to self, fit switches to lamps, employ chef and smiley staff………..

For a start would not class as a Hotel or a B&b more like a posh hostel. no one to meet you on arrival, just a computer at the desk to check you in have to find your own way to room, we arrived around 5pm and were looking forward to having a nice meal here, there were no meals available unless you brought your own food you can have use of the kitchen and dinning room, we had to travel the 20miles into Inverness for something to eat, no breakfasts either or bar for drinks at night, so if you book hear make sure you stop at a supermarket on the way as there is none anywhere near hear. if you are sitting in the lounge at night be aware the lights and electric are switched of at 11pm, there are also ccv cameras in lounge and dinning area and one way glass panel in the kitchen, so feels like you are being watched all the time, some weird decor through out like stuffed rats on the lights and picture frames, stuffed life size calf in ladies toilet, and a lot of books on murder, witchcraft and other weird stuff. Heating was only on for 2 hrs in morning then came on again at night so room was freezing during day only 10 degrees, good point rooms were spotlessley clean and got bed made and clean towels every day during our 3 night stay, also some lovely veiws and walks in the area.

Room Tip: We were in room 5 witch was loch faceing and the veiw was great

Stayed here for weekend recently, great place with a warm and pleasant reception.rooms clean and more than adequate and a great breakfast to start off the day the view over Loch Ness is amazing .would absolutely recommend
P.s it's about time someone put their foot down to the array of electronic gadgets that are found adorning the many dining tables in hotels and b & bs.its great to be able to get away from the crazy 24/7 world and have some peace

Most enjoyable weekend stay at Foyers House, really comfy room with a great view over the loch - perfect for nessie spotting!
Owners welcoming and helpful - advised us on nice places to visit around the local area. Walk down to the 'Foyers falls' and through the forest was beautiful.

Throughly recommend a stay here !
