“Interesting local history”
Reviewed April 15, 2011

A fantastic interactive presentation by a warm welcoming host. As part of 'haggis' tours we stopped off to view the show. Two members were dressed up and lots of weapons shown. Good value and great for all the family.

“Unique shop spoiled by rude salesman in kilt”
Reviewed July 10, 2010

Although the shop itself appears interesting with some unique buys the man working in this place on Saturday July 10 2010 would most definitely rate as the rudest I have yet met.
He clearly didn't realize I was in charge of the children standing next to me and swiftly verbally attacked the boys (aged 8 and 9) for breakjng the headphones which are there for the sole purpose of listening to music.. He then snatched them off the boys sayiong he had been watching them fight over them for the past 10 minutes. Not so - I as ith them the entire time and we were only in the store for 5 minutes.
He refused to apologize for his lies or his behaviout - infact said 'he didn't care.
Sorry - but wearing a kilt, standing behind a counter, then lying to and snatching off small children does not make you anything but a coward and a bully.
Apologies to the actual owner of the Clansman Centre. Your staff member made you lose out on a considerable sale today. It also turns out this is not a ne experience with this particular fellow after some investigation.
Matbe you should put a camera in the place and check hat your staff are doing and if they treat people with respect and even a little touch of public relations.

“Nice Presentation”
Reviewed July 8, 2009

We swung by here while on a 3-day backpacking tour. It was only 4 pounds, so I think just about everyone on the tour went in. It focused on highland dress, history, etc. It was well done and the presenter clearly loved to subjects. I posted a little more info and photos on my travel blog at:
