“Beauty in abundance.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2013

This is such an amazing place. There are a set of locks and a swing bridge that boats have to get through to gain access to Loch Ness. Wonderful scenery on all sides of this little town. Good variety of shops and boat trips available out onto Loch Ness. Also a fantastic rare breeds animal centre which is so cheap and so worth a visit with a chance to see lots of lovely animals close up. This would make a great base to stay and then enjoy trips out to the surrounding area.

“Really great cute small town”

What's not to like? Cruise the lock, see the locks, visit a pub, have a coffee on the balcony of the coffee shop behind the food shop overlooking the small river (it's on the corner between the two bridges).
