Although the rooms are on the smaller side ( especially with luggage etc in room) we could not fault this B&B. Short walk to a few local pubs, all info provided in helpful in room guide. Lovely woodland walk/run at end of road. Huge tasty breakfast overlooking delightful view. Guests welcome to enjoy take away good in communal lounge/TV area We had two nights, would loved to stay a few more. Our hosts were most friendly.

We (a party of 2 couples) only spent 1 night here but it was one of the nicest we had on our trip so much so that we’re hopefully going back to stay for New Year. When we arrived, there was no one there to greet us however, Sarah had left a large notice on the door explaining where to find everything including the names of who was to stay in which room, where to pick up the keys more than enough info was left which, was very helpful and, once Sarah arrived back, she immediately came and welcomed us. Sarah was helpful and asked us to contact her if we had any problems (which we didn’t) she was a lovely hostess and eager to help without being too much.

Our room was clean, comfy, and not a bad size, we had the back room overlooking the woodlands which, we found to be a relaxing and quiet room to sleep in and the bathroom with shower was a fair size and extremely clean; I don’t personally believe the décor was “dated” as a previous comment suggests but as with lots of things décor is subjective to the individual (on another note, I don’t think it was overpriced again, this is a personal view).

There were loads of choices at breakfast and it was very tasty also nothing was too much trouble for Sarah so, if you’re planning a visit to Loch Ness and the surrounding areas and you need a base then the Aslaich B&B is perfect.

We had booked a double bed and a single and got 3 single beds which were very small. The room was too small for all our suitcases and there was a shared bathroom. Decor dated and we saw a smoke detector sitting on the floor of the passageway propped against a wall, certainly not legal and of no use in a fire.
Host very genial but didnt answer her phone and no one there to greet us. The late check in is an issue as it was snowing and one member of our party was quite ill and needed to rest. We ended up leaving and staying elsewhere.
It also seemed overpriced for what was on offer as we stayed in a large comfortable hotel room in Inverness for the same price with a bathroom and enormous beds and huge breakfast. As we didnt stay I dont know about sleep quality but I think a bit of an update and not trying to put 3 beds in a room for 2 for go a long way to improving this bnb.

Aslaich Bed & Breakfast is a nice little basic B & B that will meet all of your needs. It's clean, breakfast was sufficient and we had a great sleep. The property is well maintained and close to the general store, local pubs and restaurants.

What a lovely b&b! Beautiful peaceful location, spotlessly clean and really cosy room. The best thing however was the service, Sarah really makes you feel at home. I will definitely return when I walk the great glen way again. Thanks for a really comfortable night!
Oh and only a 5 minute walk from a fabulous pub!

Great location we found the B&B easy enough with the help from the locals at the fish and chip shop, the room was immaculate the bathroom also immaculate and loved that we didn't have to share one with anyone else. I slept like a log as did my husband. Breakfast was delicious heaps of parking space a great spot that I would return to
