Stayed for 2 nights as I was competing in the Monster Challenge, round Loch Ness. John and Caroll were most welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful. They even got up at 5.30 am to give me a wonderful breakfast before the event - despite being told that a tray breakfast would do!
The cottage looks enchanting. Caroll told us that they have not long taken over the cottage and they have plans to upgrade bathrooms etc.
The area is a stunning location and a fabulous sunset the first night was a real bonus.
There are several good eating places, both in the village and a few miles up the road (including one with a fantastic view overlooking Loch Ness) and the owners gave us their honest opinion on the quality of the food.
A good stay at a really friendly cottage, we have recommended it to friends.

I stayed there with my girlfriend for one night. The owner was very nice and cooked a good breakfast. The room was a little noisy when the other guests were in but overall it was good.

We have just come back from a 2 week trip round Scotland, the first week was in a cottage and the 2nd week we wanted to travel around so stayed in several bed and breakfast places, I have to say that this was by far the best one that we stayed in, the room was lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

Arrived in Drumnadrochit at dusk and thought we'd try the hotel - the doors were open but there was nobody around so we drove on and saw some B&Bs on the village green. From the outside Greenlea looked neat and well cared for so we decided to give it a try. Very pleasantly surprised to find we had a ground floor room (no stairs to negotiate with heavy luggage!) with a separate entrance to the main house. It was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and well decorated with a small ensuite bathroom. There were tea and coffee making facilities, plus biscuits and Carol brought us some fresh milk, which was a nice touch. For dinner she suggested Fiddlers Restaurant , just 1 minute walk across the village green. A delicious full Scottish breakfast was served in the main house (which dates from 1810), plus a good choice of cereals and fruit.. For 25 pounds per person, it was very good value and reminded us of the way B&Bs used to be, but in the nicest possible way. Would recommend it highly.
