We loved our long weekend in the lodge, it really felt like an idyllic escape. The views are spectacular. It is an incredibly spacious property, ideal for large groups who want to have privacy, but also offering many rooms for shared activities. The walk into town is a pleasurable distance, but it’s not difficult to arrange a taxi if the return upward journey doesn’t appeal.
Had a wonderful time here over the NY. The lodge is great and has so much character and history. It is well equipped and has plentry of space. Great for small groups. It’s a good walk to the local town and there are plenty of kodak moments on the way! Would def recommend to anyone thinking about staying here.
Myself and some friends stayed here over the new year and it was lovely! Beautiful lodge in a picturesque location with lots of fascinating history including being the holiday home of JM barry! The lodge is lovely and well equipped, there was 8 adults and 2 babies and more than enough room. It’s a nice walk to the local town and pubs. Highly recommend a stay here!
My family and I have spent many a fantastic holiday at Dhivach Lodge, most recently with a group of friends over Hogmanay 2017. We try to go at least once a year and it is a truly special place. The owners and their staff ensure that the Lodge is always immaculate. Spacious, tranquil, impressive, romantic, historical, homely, there are so many words to describe the Lodge; if you want a Highland base to explore, fish, walk or shoot, look no further. We can't wait to go again next year! In the words of Anthony Trollope (who visited the Lodge in the 19th century),"you might perhaps travel through all Scotland and without finding a more beautifully romantic spot in which to reside".
