Hi. Big thanks from the Danes. Your place is perfectly situated for travelling around the area. Super rooms and restrooms, perfect sevice and the best connection to your "borders". We felt so very welcome and the lunches you made for us was an extra treat. We will return, we hope and until such time we give you and your place the best recommendation.

We (two ladies of 30) went on a roadtrip through Scotland in August 2012 and at some point ended up on Eileen and Robin's doorstep. They welcomed us in and made sure we were most comfortable. They provided us with excellent food and lodging, and really helped us along by giving tips regarding our route. We certainly recommend you stay with them for a few nights, it is well worth staying at! Tip: go and eat at a nearby hotel, unfortunately we don't remember the name, but we were picked up by their taxi service and taken to the hotel's restaurant overlooking Loch Ness.

Having just stayed two nights with Eileen and Robin during Easter, we feel
like making another holiday there already. The hosts were extremely warm
and helpful, with great attention to details. The bed room and guest lounge
were full of sweet touches, making one feel like staying at a friend's
house instead of paying guests. The location itself is a very good spot
based on which one can easily explore Loch Ness and even further out - the
Caimgomas National Park for instance like we did - without losing the
unique highland countryside tranquility. Would definitely prefer staying
here to bigger hotels or B&B in towns.

What's worth special mentioning is this place is full of wonderful
surprises with wildlife. Most special is that there was a pine marten
visiting the garden during our stay!! Was extraordinary experience. Just on
the morning of our departure, we encountered three red deers just on the
field across the road (they were v cautious and shy though so had to watch
them far away).

Will definitely come back !

We love the western highlands of Scotland and have spent many happy holidays there. We discovered Tigh na Bruaich a few years ago and now it is a "must" when we are in the area. Eileen and Robin are delightful hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them to ensure that their guests have an extremely comfortable stay. The ensuite bedroom is beautifully furnished and there are special touches such as the well stocked hospitality tray, sweets, books etc.
Breakfast is superb with plenty of fresh fruit and yogurt as well as the cooked menu (bacon and brie on toasted crumpet is a great favourite!).
The quiet location offers rest and the opportunity to look at the wildlife that comes to the garden.
Our thanks go to Robin and Eileen for providing such a luxurious place for us to stay and enjoy. They deserve their Gold award!!

This bed and breakfast choice was a last minute one chosen when we realised just how long the journey was going to take back to England from the North coast, near Loch Eriboll. It's not the miles it's the hours on single track roads up there. Fortunately we had Scotland's Best B and Bs in the car. We felt lucky to get a place that was so very lovely without having done all the usual checks on-line. Robin and Eileen greeted us very warmly and made everything just perfect for us.
I have no idea how they make the tableware sparkle and gleam so brightly. We were in the twin room overlooking the front garden; it was quiet and beautifully clean and fresh. The private bathroom was separate; actually, I think I'm beginning to prefer an adjoining bathroom to en suite. Breakfast was amazing, with an impressive choice, hard to choose, it was all so enticing. The strawberries, blueberries and fabulous raspberries looked stunning in the huge cocktail glasses.
I'd be more than happy to stay there again and to be looked after so kindly by Robin and Eileen.

Room Tip: Both rooms are lovely, quiet, sparkling clean.

This was our 2nd stay this year .... and will definatley be staying there again whilst on our travels throughout the Highlands ... its a great starting point specially if you land at Inverness ... only about 40mins down the A82, Upon arriving at Tigh na Bruaich you get a lovely warm welcome from Eileen and Robin, the rooms are very spacious , spotlessly clean and homely. The breakfast / sitting room is very cosy, it's a joy to watch the wildlife whilst having breakfast. As for the breakfast itself you have a very good choice, It's the little extra touches that really stand out in this B & B.

Quiet location near Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. Early bird watching from the room and lounge. Couple are nature photographers with great photos throughout the house and extensive knowledge of the area.
