“An iontesting natural phenomena”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2013

Walked down in the evening so missed the boat trip into the inner caves, but plenty of natural interest including a dipper in the stream and limestone loving flowers on the cliff

“Smoo Cave”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 12, 2013

The cave was worth a visit, free to the outer section, but as the guide was totally indifferent to our presence we left without venturing further. Probably worth a quick visit if you`re passing as the walk down and back is pleasant. This was the only place in Scotland where we were not warmly welcomed, perhaps he was having a bad day!

“Don't miss”

Very interesting. Better than many years ago, because the inner cave can now be visited. The guide was impressive, as he knew so much and could explain it in several languages.

“Boat trip is a must!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 9, 2013

Smoo caves is a fantastic attraction and is a must visit. It is free to walk into the cave but the real experience is the £4 boat trip into the cave. The guide that takes you into the cave on a little inflatable boat has a wealth of knowledge about the caves. Make sure you ask questions. Very interesting. Worth a stop.

“It's a cave...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2013

The name of this location is attractive, but the cave itself is nothing spectacular - it's a 10 minute visit then you're done. Not much to see.
