We found this restaurant during a walk around the delightful village of Dornoch. Booking is essential, as it obviously very popular with tourists and the locals. We were not disappointed by our meal. I ordered the tempura prawns and my husband ordered the haggis, neeps and tatties. We found out that this is haggis with turnip and potatoes attractively served in the round. For main course I had the haddock poached in a white sauce, and my husband had the guiness and beef pie. This is an absolute gem, a restaurant serving up authentic Scottish cooking with great service, excellent food and all amid lovely old world charm decor.
