The course has only been open for approx 6years yet it looks stunning with Fairways, bunkers and greens in perfect condition.

The course Manager & green staff maintain this course in tip top condition condition and in my opinion, one of the top courses in the West of Scotland.

The course is open 365 days and temp Tees are in place on very few holes. A real bonus.

There is a handy app that is great for 'flyover' views and exact distances to the heart of the greens.

Today is Jan 3 2017 and the course is playing great.

Played here for the 1st time yesterday, this "Championship Golf Course" is great but at over 6,500 Yards it's also extremely long ... it's a 'MONSTER' of a course!
Relatively new, it gives the impression of a much more 'Mature Parkland' course because it's built around 250 year-old chestnut & beech trees. All Tees, Fairways & Greens are immaculately manicured ... Fairways are wide, Greens are large, fast, receptive & of an exceptionally high standard. Bunkering is strategically placed & provides a challenge throughout your round here, like everything else on this course, the Bunkers are HUGE!
The courses real defence though is sheer length ... every Tee & Approach Shot has to be hit with real venom to have any chance of reaching the green. This course would be a challenge for any skill level & it's impossible not to enjoy playing here but I wouldn't recommend it for beginners!!
Staff are friendly & welcoming to visitors ... we were lucky & took advantage of a ‘Deal’ here & played for only £17:50, the usual Green Fees are £40.
The Locker Room, showers, etc. are clean & of a high standard.
