Just returned from a fantastic long weekend at this stunning location where we and our dog were made most welcome. From our bedroom and the restaurant and lounge we were able to enjoy breath-taking views of Loch Earn and the snow capped mountains. What a way to unwind after a long walk in the hills with afternoon tea beside the log fire in the lounge. We enjoyed delicious food in the fine dining restaurant where the emphasis was on quality Scottish produce, beautifully presented and served by helpful, friendly waitresses. Thank you again, we'd love to return!

Room Tip: Stunning views of the Loch from the front.

My husband took me away for a birthday weekend to the Four Seasons Hotel @ St Filans, Perthshire, we had a fantastic time there, the scenery is superb and the food and accommodation is great, we had a chalet and the views were stunning, and the staff are so helpful, we will return as soon as we can. Thanks again. X

Room Tip: Chalets are brilliant as you get the privacy with stunning views

We stayed one night in a superior room with bed and breakfast. This was a gift and what a lovely present it turned out to be. As soon as our bedroom door opened we had the most fantastic view down Loch Earn and the ever changing sky- a view we continued to appreciate from our bed!
After checking in late afternoon we had time to walk up the hill behind St Fillans and admire the fantastic vista of loch and snow capped hills- Ben Vorlich- coming and going as the light changed.
We ate in the Bistro and it had a nice veggie menu. I really enjoyed my starter of artichoke/roast tomato risotto, my main of celeriac rosti was okay but maybe a bit bland for my taste. The cheeseboard and chocolate fondant were good. Breakfast was fab. All the staff we met were welcoming and friendly.

Room Tip: A loch view is a must in this location!

This is the second time we have stayed at the Four Seasons. On both occasions we have had an excellent stay. The chalets at the back of the hotel are perfect for a relaxing break, and very practical with a dog. The food was excellent and we particularly enjoyed the gourmet dinner with wine. Richard, the wine merchant provided very helpful information, as well as some very nice wines. The staff were welcoming and helpful at all times. Our stay was excellent value for money. We look forward to returning.

Room Tip: The chalets have wonderful views, but be prepared for a steep hill

……… “Our stay was excellent value for money. We look forward to returning”…….. Thank you very much for taking the time to submit such a positive review. Very good to hear that you enjoyed the Gourmet Wine Dinner, and appreciated that it was such good value for money. Another two held in November, so book early to avoid disappointment

Over priced and over rated. The only good thing about this hotel was the food. Room had a damp patch in it which should have been seen to bearing in mind the price!! The other thing that spoilt our stay was instead of the special rate we thought we had booked the owner insisted our instructions were not clear and charged us top rate!! We had gone to the hotel with the promise (as mentioned on their website) of a relaxing time - it was of course spoilt by the owner's greed! Confirm with the owner the rate you are paying before you go. Stephen King

It seems that you have forgotten that I did not charge you the top rate as was booked, the same rate that was even confirmed in front of us both on your departure. It says much that you are unable to acknowledge the reduction on the previously agreed / confirmed rate in order to try and resolved the issue twixt the person who booked your stay and yourself. Thank you for pointing out the damp patch again, hopefully slates relaid and leak remedied. Good to see otherwise from your feedback card how much you enjoyed your stay with us. Thank you again for your review
