What an amazing holiday location and property! Milestone Lodge is a beautiful, romantic accomodation, decorated with comfort and good taste, to a high standard and with views to die for. Everything you could possibly need has been thought of by Lorraine and Jonathan. They are amazing hosts, making you feel relaxed and at home and they are on hand, should you need anything but otherwise leave you to enjoy the peace and seclusion. A very thoughtful gesture was the welcome pack, from which we particularly enjoyed the delicious free range eggs, from their own hens.

The hot tub is fab, sheltered, private and with views over the beautiful loch and mountains behind. Fluffy bathrobes and slippers are provided, as well as plenty of towels. The log cabin is well designed, with windows from which to enjoy the panoramic views from inside and a decking area with bistro table and chairs, also overlooking the stunning, picturesque views. It was amazing to wake up in the mornings and be able to enjoy the same views, without even getting out of bed.

The location is ideal, with its own stunning views and tranquillity and there are lovely and scenic walks, right on your doorstep. The village is walking distance and there is a good bus route to larger towns, like Crieff and Perth. There are lots of attractions within a short drive and the dramatic Glencoe mountains and Ben Nevis are well within reach, for a day trip by car. The whole area for miles around, has amazingly scenic places of interest.

Thank-you Lorraine and Jonathan, for the perfect relaxing break.

“Great relaxing break, excellent”
Reviewed March 30, 2018 for a stay in March 2018

We have just returned from a 4 day break at Milestone log cabin, everything was perfect. The views are stunning, the covered hot tub is a real plus. The complimentary bottle of prosecco was a lovely touch along with, bread, milk, butter, eggs and bacon. There are so many toiletries provided it was great. The small village was within walking distance and was really pretty, there are 2 hotels and a small shop, we ate at the café in the shop the food was very nice. We also ate at both the hotels in the village, the food was lovely and the staff very friendly. All in all we had a great stay the cabin is perfect. Thank you Jonathon and Lorraine

“Hidden gem - a must visit :)”
Reviewed February 16, 2018 for a stay in February 2018

We have just returned home from a 4 night break at Milestone Log Cabin and we loved it, from the moment I booked Loraine was amazing, she sent me through walk suggestions, days out and places to eat before we arrived.

On arrival it was a gorgeous day and we were amazed at how stunning the place is; the views over the Loch are superb.

The cabin has everything you need, the cooking fancilites are excellent and we were so thankful for the little extras Lorraine left us - especially the prosecco - thank you :)

The hot tub is absolutely brill, so warm and all undercover- again the views are something else and it’s so private the robes and slippers are another little touch that makes this place fantastic.

We walked to st fillians (10 mins) a nice walk, we enjoyed breakfast at the corner shop cafe and we dined a the Archray House Hotel, it’s a must visit as the food is outstanding, service and staff top marks we definitely want to visit this hotel for a meal again :)

We visited glencoe one day and really enjoyed it; it’s about an hours drive and it’s beautiful. We also went to Callander, the falls of dochart and Ben lawers.

If your looking for a relaxing, scenic and memorable break then book this cabin. Thank you to Lorraine we will be back in the summer xxx
