We were looking for a good value-for-money accommodation in Crieff – and we were fully satisfied by the Galvelmore House. Katy made a pretty gem of a B&B, with lots of unique interior and very warm atmosphere. Beds, equipment, facilities etc. were in excellent condition and all rooms nice and clean. very comfortable was the living room with its nice bookshelf. The cooked breakfast was simple but splendid: we had literally the best sausages on our entire journey. I can nothing but recommend the Galvelmore House to anyone looking for a good middleclass accommodation.

thank you for your kind comments. It is always appreciated when visitors appreciate our home. The sausages are made for us by our local butcher - we try to support the local businesses where possible, and Gourlays make great sausages!

Provides bed and breakfast. Actually we had a very comfortable bed, best night's sleep we have had for a long while and the breakfast was very good too. The house has an interesting selection of artworks around the place, we first visited it to see Katy's studio as part of Perthshire's Open Studio event and her own mosaics are much in evidence.

thank you so much for your kind words. And from a personal point of view, it is always appreciated when visitors 'get' my mosaics and the artistic vibes of the house

Fantastic location in the town centre. Unfortunately we only stayed here for one night to allow us to attend a family wedding at Crieff Hydro. Wished I was staying longer. Fabulous old house with loads of interesting knick knacks that due to time constraints I didnt have time to explore properly. Our room was a large double at the front of the house. Gorgeous antique bed with a very comfy mattress. Bathroom had a great power shower, although glad I knew my partner quite well as there was limited soundproofing. Breakfast was made freshly to order and the mushrooms with the balsamic vinegar were very tasty. Asked for extra toast to sample the home made jam and marmalade. The owner very kindly gave us a lift to Crieff Hydro to collect our car the morning after the wedding. Fantastic value for money and so nice that we felt welcomed into their family home.

Booked this guesthouse for an overnight stay in Crieff. Ideally situated in the centre of Crieff and next door to Harrisons Wine Shop (we attended a tasting - reason for our visit!). The bedroom was comfortable and the hosts were very hospitable. There is limited parking at the front of the house off the main street, but the guesthouse was not busy at this time of year. Breakfast was very ample and offered a good selection.
We would certainly stay here again if visiting Crieff.

We stayed at this B & B at the end of a long bicycling trip through the UK. David's pancakes are the BEST I've had in all of the UK! The central location meant we could walk everywhere we needed to go and our hosts were very helpful in showing us the best bike route to Crianlarich. Katy's mosaics are awesome! The room we stayed in had a great view out the front of the house and also a good selection of books--I added several to my reading list. We stayed two nights and were very comfortable.

Would recommend this B&B. Friendly owners Katy and David. Lots of interesting art around the place, including Katy's own mosaics. There is a communal lounge at Galvelmore House for guests. Excellent breakfast. I had kippers one day and regular cooked breakfast the next.

This is a lovely B&B in a quiet road right in the town centre. Lots of quirky touches add a homely feel and the owners are very welcoming. We stayed in the Purple room, which is large and has the most amazing views from it's two windows. Breakfasts were ample, well-cooked and Katy's plum compote was delicious ( though we understand that supplies are running low ! )
Would definitely stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Room Tip: Pay a little more to get the Purple room. The views are fantastic.
