I could not of asked for a better meal!! They made a big group feel very comfortable. The service was very friendly and very welcoming. Food was terrific!! For starter I had the special which was chilli prawns with noodles and it tasted amazing!! I ordered Yanns cheesburger for main and it has got to be the biggest burger I have ever seen. Served with salad, chips and a lovely relish it was the nicest(and biggest) burger I have ever eaten! Another member of our group ordered the steak which was cooked to perfection. I tried a bit and it was melt-in-the-mouth. The monkfish and the la pierrade platter were also ordered and they were also beautiful. A hot slate was brought to the table along with a plate full of different meats and the diners could cook their own meat to have it the way they liked it(this was the platter). I only managed to eat half of my main meal because it was so filling. Wish I could of managed more as it was delicious. I sat for a while and somehow managed to eat a dessert. I ordered the sticky toffee pudding and it tasted amazing. Finished the meal off perfectly. The service was fantastic and never let our glasses empty(Jugs of water were brought round throughout the meal). Bread was also brought to the table early on in the meal with an oil dip which was lovely. After we had finished our meal we moved through to the lounge area and relaxed with a coffee. It was a lovely atmosphere, had beautiful gardens(a pond with fishes which kept the younger ones entertained), fantastic service and very short waiting times after we had ordered food which was brilliant. Well worth the money!! I will definitely be going back!!

If you are looking for the bland anonymity of a chain hotel, then Yann's is not for you. This B&B is as individualistic as it is comfortable and the 'French rustic' effect of the decor is hugely relaxing, particularly in the lounge and dining-room. Our bedroom was spacious and well appointed. The food was superb, the service excellent and the welcome both warm and sincere. You really felt as if your hosts were happy to have you in their house. I'm sure we'll go back.

Room Tip: It's not too much of a problem, but you might be woken early by traffic if you have a room facin...

We stayed with a family party for a few days and we had our 2 kids (4 yrs and 16 months) in our room at the top of the House. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious as it had an interlinking room. The food was superb - both when feeding the kids at 6pm and then when dining in the evening as, and with other, grown ups - lots of choice but nothing too over the top and silly. The owners and staff, were exceptional in their welcome and unobtrusive ability to make you feel at home. Would not hesitate to recommend - and if you are taking little ones, our baby monitor reached from the restaurant to the top of the house no problem!

Room Tip: Family room option at the top of the House is great for a family of 4 and there is plenty of space f...

Stayed unfortunately only 1 night at Yann's as other night was fully booked. Very cosy B&B with fantastic hosts. Had a warmly decorated room on 1st floor. Nice lounge area where you can have a drink before dinner or just read & relax. The food is superb and the service very good. Breakfast delicious especially the "crêpes au chocolat" - never had anything better. Very convenient if you want to play golf at Gleneagles as only 15 min. away and definitely worthwhile the extra km for such a nice place. Very convenient with the restaurant on the spot.

This is a lovely B & B packed with charm and character, nice lounge area with large sofas and period furniture, very comfy and welcoming. All of the staff attentive and helpful. We ate in the french bistro style restaurant, lovely relaxed atmosphere and great food. Our room was at the top of the house, it was a family room which consisted of a bedroom with 2 single beds, door through to main bedroom with double bed and en suite, plenty of space for a family. The thing I have to say though is because you are in the top of the house there are sloping ceilings and little nooks and crannies and the lighting is quite dim with not much natural light so its quite hard to do your make up etc properly. Other than that I really cant fault it and we have both said we would stay there again.

Room Tip: If you like a room with lots of natural light then ask for a room not at the top of the house.

We spent 2 nights at this pleasant B&B. Our room was up in the gables of the house (it was actually 2 rooms because they use it as a family room with a room for twin beds leading into the main bed/bath. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The lounge area downstairs is filled with overstuffed sofas and the whole room offers a pleasant place to meet with other guests, read a book or use your computer. There is WiFi but the old walls are thick so service is spotty. Breakfast was offered in the charming dining room prepared by Yann and served by his wife Sheri. We missed out on eating at their highly regarded restaurant because it is closed Mon.. &Tues., our nights of stay. We did eat at their restaurant down the road, Lounge, and enjoyed the food. We loved the place and would recommend it as a great spot to venture off to all the sights offered in Crieff and surrounding areas.

Room Tip: The B&B is located on a busy road so maybe ask for a room on the side. Also there was one room t...

Don't miss the opportunity to stay here. This was our first visit (it had been recommened) and we weren't disappointed. The place has a lovely warm feeling about it and this is only re enforced by Shari and her team who are very attentive and cater for all your needs. Our room (which was located at the top of the house) was really nice and the en suite bathroom was well laid out with excellent fittings. We had booked on a bed and breakfast basis but booked in for dinner in advance - one word would cover the dining experience..WOW! Yann's cooking is not to be missed!!!! the wine list that accompanied the menus was (i thought) as reasobable as it was extensive and throw this in beside a lovely breakfast the following morning made it a really good Saturday night away and one which we will repeat!
