Stayed in this lovely B&B for 2 nights and had the pleasure of meeting our very friendly and pleasant hosts Paul and Helen. The place was very inviting and the room was extremely clean with a super king size bed. The bathroom had the WOW effect and The breakfast was one of the best I have seen. During our stay Paul was very helpful for directing us to some of the lovely little fishing towns in East Coast.
Finally Paul suggested on our visit to Edinburgh to leave the car in the Airport and use the Tram. That was simply the best advice anyone has ever given me. Thank you to our lovely hosts for making it a lovely stay in a nice part of Scotland.
We would highly recommend the B&B to anyone thinking of visiting Crieff.

Paul and Helen clearly love what they do. They want you to enjoy every aspect of your time in Crieff (the most underrated town in Scotland!). They are willing to help you find/book a restaurant, recommend things to do, etc.

From the homemade butter cookies to a dram of whiskey in your room, you will feel instantly well taken care of.

Breakfast was one of the best--homemade muesli, yummy haggis, bread blood sausage and eggs!

Room tip: All the rooms are delightful. Small boutique feeling

My wife and I had the privilege of staying at Merlindale for a night as we were working at Crieff highland gathering. I had the good fortune to find this absolute gem owned by Paul and Helen.
We have never stayed anywhere with such attention to detail with the perfect hosts whose philosophy is simple, they try to treat their guests the way they would like to be treated.
From the moment we were welcomed by Paul we felt very special and treated as friends rather than customers.
The whole house just oozes charm with calming decor and large well proportioned rooms with very comfortable bed and massive ensuite bathroom with roll top bath and separate multi jet shower.
We requested a very early cooked breakfast as we had to set up early to trade at Crieff highland gathering and the portions meant we did not need to eat anything else all day.
Paul and Helen are excellent hosts and we will return......other establishments could learn a lot from Paul and Helen

Room tip: We had the bluebell room and we highly recommend it but I'm sure the other rooms are also excellent

I can't say enough great things about Merlindale! Paul and Helen were lovely hosts, so willing to be helpful and accommodating. They assisted us with dinner reservations as well as tips about activities in the area. Breakfasts were delicious! The house itself is beautiful and meticulously clean, located in a quiet area just a short walk from a variety of restaurants. Crieff itself is a charming town that we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved Merlindale and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

Just spent a wonderful week here in Merlindale. Helen and Paul were the perfect hosts and went over and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable and relaxed.

The rooms were large and beautifully decorated with comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms, and the breakfasts delicious. Helen’s homemade museli is to die for!

Crieff has at least 7 great restaurants within walking distance of Merlindale, which Helen and Paul told us about. The countryside around is simply stunning and it’s a great location to visit other areas such as Perth and Pitlochry.

We were competing in the Scottish 6 day orienteering event so travelling to different locations each day and coming back tired and muddy. Helen and Paul very kindly washed out dirty kit for us and dried our muddy boots and made us an early breakfast when we needed it.

Thank you so much for a wonderful week.... we will miss you. X

Highly recommended.
