“Get a curry from co-op”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

Expected great things from previous reviews so trued for ourselves. Honestly dont waste your money, its not cheap but the quality is. Reformed chicken, ridiculous amounts of grease in curry and bhajis, no mushroom in mushroom pila rice, stale reheated naan. Only good but wasbrhe papadoms. By far I am not a fussy eater but should have gone to co-op for a prepacked takeaway.

“An absolute treat!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2013 via mobile

I cannot recommend this little gem highly enough. Me and my partner visited on the basis of the fantastic reviews we had read about the place on TripAdvisor.
Don't even think twice about it, JUST GO!!
Very polite staff, very accommodating and helpful. A clean, yet small, restaurant with authentic Indian music which we both really enjoyed.
The food, my goodness.. THE FOOD!! We were offered Poppadoms to start - perfect. We then ordered Mushroom Pakora and Vegetable Samosa - YUM!! They came with a delicious spicy sauce. The naan bread is to die for, so light and flavoursome. The rice, perfect!! The mains, mmm. I will leave something to your imagination.
We didn't have room for pudding, I was on the verge of being rolled out of the place.
Just spectacular.
I gave a 4 for atmosphere as it was rather early on a Saturday evening so it was very quiet, although there was a lot of people coming in for take aways!! We passed back by later on that evening on the way back to our lodge and it was buzzing with people. :) There were only two other men in the restaurant with us at the time and they were absolute pigs. They wasted so much food and most of it had been spilled all over the table. Horrors!! No reflection on the restaurant at all - they were handled perfectly.
THANK YOU CHILLIES!!
We will definitely be back if we're ever up those ends again.

“Perthshire Eastern Spice”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2013

Tasty Indian food with some unusual dishes, generous portions, Cobra beer and friendly service. We particularly liked the lamb dhansak and their nan breads. Accommodating on a bustling Saturday evening when we arrived without reservations and no sense of being rushed.

“An Eastern Gem in the Highlands”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013

A real surprise to find this and to enjoy the great food here. So often more remote restaurants lack the quality where they are not tested by competition. No worries here - some of the dishes were excellent, and others certainly enjoyable. None of it formulaic.

Highlight was the king prawn shakcuti - rich, exotic, flavourful The Chillies King Prawn Delight special was spicy and sour with the biggest, juiciest prawns I have eaten. Naan was lovely, accompaniments were good. The only gripe would be the use of a particularly virulent food colouring used in the Chicken Tikka Masala for the kids - although it did not seem to put them off and it had good flavour and a lot of chicken.

“Great food - unexpected”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

We picked this place as one of the few eateries open in Aberfeldy on a Sunday evening. Doesn't look too enticing from outside but the food was good. There was a buffet night on the night we were there although we - along with a few others - were eating of the main menu. All in all a good meal. Pops, Statrters mains, Rice and a bottle of wine for less than £50. Great value
