I stayed at Rainbow Lodge with my husband and our 2 teenagers. We all loved it. The lodge is stylishly decorated, warm and comfy, with a good selection of games and DVDs should the weather hamper any outdoor plans. However for me the view from the lodge over the lochan was great enetertainment. Jumping fish, squabbling ducks, swooping swallows and the comings and goings of the sheep and deer on the hill, all wonderful food for the soul. A hike up Schiehallion, a trip to the Watermill in Aberfeldy and the Crannog Centre on Loch Tay, all within 15 minutes drive from Glengoulandie make Rainbow Lodge a great base for the area.
Clean tidy warm and pretty! What more could you ask? There was 6 in our party 2 grumpy teenagers 2 friends, myself and partner. We ALL had a lovely time the 3 on suites are a great idea we ate in and relaxed. Well worth staying not in walking distance of anything to eat or drink so take your own and enjoy the view!
We stayed in Rainbow Lodge in Glengoulandie. Luxury lodge in stunning surroundings. Lodge located on the banks of the lochan. Well equipped with everything you need. The widlife on your doorstep is amazing. Waking up to the wonderful view over the Lochan every morning was a real treat.
A car is required as there are no restaurants close by but we found 2 good restaurants a short drive away in Weem and Aberfeldy.
I will defintely return one day.
