lovely garden with great views in the background . lots of different plants and flowers , hence worth visiting different times of the year . not too big and easily manageable . as others have said honesty box for entry and another for buying plants , restores ones faith in humanity .

We had walked the Birks of Aberfeldy earlier in the day and decided to stop at the Bolfracks Gardens as it was on our way to Kenmore. It is such a lovely garden with pleasant walks and magnificent views. I like the fact that, in this day and age, the owners provide an honesty box where you made payment. We were able to buy some plants, again the owners have an honesty box policy. I have no idea what i bought but am looking forward to seeing them grow, knowing that a little piece of Perthshire will be in my back garden

We try to visit each summer, as it is a beautiful garden. not for the unfit though - there are a lot of hills! Once you get up them, there are some beautiful peonies and lots of lovely old-fashioned roses. There is a great pathway up at the top, with lots of old climbing roses and pears. There is also a small pond where we once found a newt, as well as benches. I think it is £4 entry, with an honesty box.

This is a pleasant garden set on a steep north slope. Although not particularly old it is nicely set out and is worth a short visit.
