Sarah was a very friendly and helpful host. The room was comfortable and well equipped with nice good quality towels, toiletries etc. Breakfasts were yummy with scrumptious eggs provided by the obviously very happy and contented free range hens. On Sarah's recommendation we visited Ailean Chraggan at Weem for dinner on our first night and were not disappointed. The food was great, the manager Tony very entertaining and extremely knowledgeable about whisky. The meal on the second night, at Fortingall Hotel, was unfortunately not such an enjoyable experience, with us being asked to vacate our table before we had time to have coffee, despite not having been told it had been booked by someone else for a later sitting, not acceptable. However, this should not in any way throw a negative light on a stay at The Steading. We're not sure why it doesn't have a Scottish Tourist Board rating, but we would definitely rate it a 4* compared to other B&Bs that are rated and have no hesitation in recommending it as a lovely place to stay.

My husband & I enjoyed two nights at The Steading in November. Sarah (owner & marvellous host) looked after us so well. The room was lovely, very comfy bed & great little tea tray with home baked shortbread.
The shower room had very spoiling products - including gorgeous smelling White Company hand wash & hand cream.
There is a lovely sitting room with wood burning stove, a great place to relax and warm up after a brisk walk on a cold winters day.

Sarah's breakfast offerings were indulgent!!

A great find, and would highly recommend!

Room Tip: Double room is upstairs & has lovely views. There is no bath but a lovely large shower cubicle.

We had a fantastic 2 nights stay at The Steading, the breakfast was outstanding! I couldn't resistant having the kippers 2 days on the trot, the Scottish breakfast was equally fabulous!
The bed was extremely comfortable and cosy, with lots of homely touches (biscuits, hair dryer etc.)
We spent one evening sat outside with thick blankets and the fire pit, we felt very much at home!

Thankyou very much for such a lovely stay!

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed here, and we had a great stay both times. With the mix of country and culture you won't be disappointed with a stay at The Steading. The breakfast are excellent especially the waffles!

This is the best B&B I have ever stayed in!

Its the second time in a year that we have stayed at the Steady with Sarah and her family. Folk's as B&B's go it does not get better than this, we even had a fire work display to watch :)

Sarah's hospitality, attention to detail and customer care could not be any better! we met up with some old friends and had a fantastic weekend, made svn better by our stay at The Steading, Aberfeldy.

Kind regards, Sean & Carolyn.

Room Tip: Down stairs is good as you can go straight outside, especially when the fire outside has been lit

We had a fantastic few days at The Steading. A warm welcome awaited us on a cold dark night and we were greeted with a big pot of tea and delicious homemade cake! The bedroom was lovely and cosy and very clean with lots of thoughtful touches like homemade shortbread, wine glasses, iron, hair drier etc. The bathroom was modern and had everything we needed. The guest living room had a superb log burning stove and we loved sitting in it in th evening as it just felt like a home away from home. Breakfasts were fantastic with lots to choose from. Our hosts were wonderful and even treated us to a bottle of fizz to celebrate our engagement while we were there.
We would recommend The Steading to anyone.

As you may have gathered from previous posts, this is an extremely special place to stay. Will and Sarah made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped into their beautiful house. Every detail has been considered right down to the Harris Tweed keyring!
The breakfasts are truly outstanding and will keep even the fussiest eater contented.
Many thanks for a great half term break - we hope to be back!
