Good. Grand children, 14 and 16 years loved it especially the museum. The only thing that we thought was over the top were the sandwiches. £6.00 to £7.15 for ham and cheese. Not necessary. We only had a drink. Disappointing

We’re pleased to hear that your grandchildren enjoyed the visit and our Heritage Exhibition but we’re sorry to hear your thoughts on our sandwiches. We’re proud to use local ingredients for our menu – the ham in the sandwich that you mention, comes from Aberfeldy – all of our sandwiches are served with our homemade Dewar’s slaw and cous cous from Dow’s in Aberfeldy. We believe that for the quality of ingredients used, our menu represents good value for money but thank you for your review and feedback.

We've done a number of distillery tours and this is definitely a really good one to try.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and our guide (Zoe, I think?) was excellent. Beforehand we had a look round the interactive museum, which was interesting, then we were on the 'basic' tour which is excellent value for money.

The tour itself takes an hour and was really informative, especially about the blending process and the history of Dewars. At the end you get 1 dram from a choice of 3, or a drivers pack if you're not partaking. There's also a brief film you can watch before or after.

The shop was very good too, and the cafe looked nice (although we didn't use it).

Whether you know a bit about whiskey already or if you're new to it, we'd definitely recommend.

I was bought the cask tour as a Christmas present from my daughter, which I visited on Saturday 1st February. Tour was excellent, Tom who was our tour guide was informative with a sense of humour and above all wanted to ensure we had a good visit. The shop is excellently priced and the resturant area is great if people are waiting to pick you up as you’ve had a drink. The smells and the history are amazing especially the museum, well worth a visit when you’re in Aberfeldy

We visited for the first time as staying overnight in Aberfeldy, we received a very warm and friendly welcome from Tom when we entered the visitors centre and he explained the format of the tour.

As we had a few minutes to spare we had a quick look around the shop and then started the tour, you enter a mini cinema to watch a video that gives you an insight into the Dewars brand and then you have free time to explore the museum, we were then guided around the distillery by Bruce who was very pleasant and then off to the warehouse, if you have booked the cask tasting tour this is where you will get to try a deluxe whisky straight out the cask ( I definitely recommend this tour) you also get to keep your engraved glass.

We then returned to the visitors centre and were offered another dram which went down nice, If you are driving you will receive a drivers pack so you don't miss out.

This was the first time my wife had been to a distillery tour and although not a whisky drinker she really enjoyed it.

Great tour and highly recommended

Family celebrations for two Christmas Eve birthdays. 8 had a fab time on Connoisseur tour and enjoyed the whisky tasting. The staff were all very helpful and made the experience fun. 5 shopped and had coffee, and scones with jam and cream in the cafe. As the tasting and cafe are in the same area we were able to chat and laugh as some are not whisky drinkers. Would recommend this tour.
