We had an amazing time at Moness the resort exceeded our expectations. The staff couldn't do enough for us.

The food at the restaurant was very reasonably priced and was cooked to perfection.

The location of the resort was great 10 mins walking into the town which was also very picturesque and friendly.

Stayed at the Moness Resort for a wee early birthday treat with my friend. Everything was really great however the extra special part was when having dinner & drinks the staff were so friendly & warm & the chef, finding out it was my birthday decorated my dessert plate which was just so thoughtful. The stay was great but it is these little touches that just makes you want to come back.

Been to Moness a lot as my dad has had a timeshare there since 1994, it has good facilities & a good location but would say this year our stay was a disappointing & I am unsure if we will be returning.

Dinner at the hotel was fine, but the person in change seemed to be keen to rush us and wasn't very hospitable even a bit annoyed when he came to take our drinks order & we were still looking at the menu - the restaurant was not busy.

The upstairs restaurant (which is less formal so much more convenient with for small children) was closed in the evenings all week, which meant you also couldn't sit out on the terrace & have a drink on a sunny evening as the bar was closed.

We did have lunch there one day & ordered a sharing platter to find when it came out that the 2 main ingredients (halloumi & falafel) were not on the plate. £12.50 for a plate of peppers, olives, hummus, salad & a couple of wraps is pretty ridiculous. When we mentioned this to the waitress she corrected it & brought a seperate plate with halloumi & something else which looked like cold falafel scraped into a pate dish and said the chef was new so didn't know what was meant to be on the platter.

We phoned before our stay to extend our stay by 1 day, however on the original check out date fresh linen was brought to our cottage & when I phoned reception (from my mobile as the phone in our cottage wasn't working) I was told there was no note or record of the booking being extended.

Finally the showers in the courtyard cottages are not fit for purpose, the pressure is non existent and from a safety perspective it is almost impossible to regulate the temparature which seems to go from cold to scolding hot to freezing again with the slightest adjustment. Lickily our young son didn't have a shower while we stayed there as I really don't think the hot temperature would be safe forchildren

Unfortunately it now seems a bit more like faulty towers than the nice family resort which it once was.
This is such a shame and probably the reason why there weren't as many other families there this year as there has been in the past.

We stayed at the Moness the last week in May 2019. The resort was enjoyable and in a wonderful spot. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The 2 bedroom cottage had plenty of room and was very clean.

We have been coming to Moness for the last twenty years. We love the tranquility and beauty of the area even on rainy days. The resort is like a home from home and we always feel very comfortable.
The staff are friendly and the cottages clean. We also love the wildlife. Twice this year a deer trotted past our patio doors.
