We stayed here on Friday night to go to the Tom Jones concert at Hamilton Park a taxi from the hotel, which they booked for us, was £3.70. The hotel is just off the roundabout which would make you think it would be noisy but we had a room facing onto the roundabout and there was no noise at all. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the manager Colin deserves a special mention for being one of the friendliest managers I have come across.
The rooms were basic but at £52.50 for a twin room that is to be expected. The beds were comfy, the room was cosy, the TV worked, there was free Wifi, tea/coffee making facilites and extra covers and pillows if required. The continental breakfast included in the price was very good with unlimited amounts of cereals, croissants, cheese, jams, fruit juice and tea or coffee.
There is also the full english option for an extra fee but we didn't have that.
All in all very good for the price and I would recommend it for anyone who needs to be in that area.

Room Tip: I would say the location of our 106 was possibly not very good but there was no noise and we had a g...

We spent a weekend here in May, visiting Glasgow and the Falkirk Wheel. Great location for access to everywhere, being conveniently just off the M74, but not noisy.Room warm, spacious and comfortable, both room and bathroom spotlessly clean and everything worked, especially in the bathroom. Terrific shower! Food in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced and staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. So pleased that we booked an extra night.

My sister and I stayed here for one night, the hotel being well located for a family funeral we were attending. As we were staying the night before the funeral, I requested a quiet room, so we could both get a good rest. Unfortunately, on arriving late at night, we found our room to be on the ground floor, next to the entrance....and were duly woken up by people standing there chatting at 6:30am (thanks, folks!). Not great.
On the positive, the room was clean, the shower was great, and the complimentary continental breakfast wasn't bad. The price of the room was very good also. However, apart from the poor room allocation, the beds were rather soft....and, because of this, I doubt I would return; my back couldn't take it!

Room Tip: Far away from the entrance if you want a good sleep!

This hotel is ideally suited just off the motorway. The staff were all very pleasant, and our room (111) was fairly large. We both had a great nights sleep, which for me especially is unusual in a strange bed. The room wasn't perfect, but for the price is would be petty to criticize. We had dinner in the carvery which is part of the hotel, and it was delicious. Definitely one we will use again if we are in that area.

Location is excellent being just off the M74. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the staff we encountered were all friendly and efficient.

Room was an odd shape but reasonable large. The room was clean but the beds are not as comfortable as they could be. The door to the lodge was beneath our room which meant we heard it bang closed as people came in and out.

Managed to get 3 nights for the price of 2 which represents good value.
